Best Ratio?

What do you guys consider to be the best ratio for dieting?

EG
Protein%:Carbs%:Fat%

I am getting ready to start a Winny EQ cycle and am looking to shed some unwanted body fat while maintaining my muscle mass. I currently weigh 192 lbs. 5'8" and my BF is probably 15-18%.

Tri,

I typically use a 40c/40p/20f when shedding bodyfat. But, as I am mesomorph with a fair endomorphic component, and carb sensitive, these are the ratios that work for me. I also have cut out all dairy products, and simple sugars, and only eat fibrous carbs (veges) after 3:00 pm. Your body type and activity level will be the determining factors in your macronutrient ratios. There is no magic formula.

As far as starting a cycle......
I personally would recommend staying off of AAS until you have maxed out your gains naturally, and have your bodyfat at 10% or under. Most people who use AAS to cut never ending up staying lean, as they simply lack the discipline to do so naturally, and end up continuing bad dietary habits once off.

IMHO, diet is not something that you do to cut weight. It is a year-round discipline and science that is learned for your specific body type, and constantly manipulated to further your current goals.

I'm similar to ziggy, xcept I eat yogurt and or cottage cheese at every meal. No one can tell me not to. My meal plan is working like magic.

depends on how carb sensitive you are. I am highly carb sensitive, so for me: 45%p, 30%C, 25%f has worked really good.

You can start with a baseline like 40%P, 40%C, 20%F (which is actually Body for Life ratios) and start substracting carbs untily you feel your lifting begins to suffer too much
