Best Protein Supplement?

I'm curious as to what people have found to be the "Best" Protein Supplement that they've discovered to give great gains over a period of time. I have been using "MuscleTech - NitroTech Hardcore" these past 3 Weeks. My gains have been about 4lbs of Muscle, and I'm consuming 1 serving in the morning, 2 servings before, 2 servings after work out - Only on a 6 day schedule.

Anyone else have any good brands? I'm just trying to find the best for price efficiency and gains. - Nitro Tech is about 50$ 4lbs, little pricey. Also, I don't use any other supplement, simply eat properly and take just this supplement.

Thanks for reading.

im going to give nelsons company a shot soon

"Best" in regard to what? All commercial brands use more or less the same stuff.

Most people will go by price and tastes and that's not such a bad idea. But without a doubt, sprayed dried super plasma protein is the most potent protein in regard to nitrogen retention but it's ridiculously expensive -- Fifty bucks a pound!!!

At www.proteinfactory.com you can customize your protein and get it at wholesale. I like half isolate, 1/4 miceller casein and 1/4 egg. That's a combo of fast and slowly absorbed high quality proteins.

For economy, go with whey concentrate (the main ingredient in most MRP's). It goes for about 6 bucks a pound.

Soy is even less.

BIG BLAST contains Isolate AND spray dried plasma serum. $14.80. Considering what you get, that's a fantastic price.

I get Aussie Caseinate from Protein Factory for Meal Replacement, and I was going to order some CFM Whey Isolate for shakes around workouts.

6 lbs- 60$, 3lbs of each.

Optimum Nutrition is my favorite, but most all on the market protein supps are basically the same stuff. Just look at the nutritional facts and decide for yourself. And also, instead of taking 5 servings of powder a day, replace it with real food and take more like 2 servings a day.
