almost any Scorcese film. Goodfellas has some amazing music, much of which is not on the soundtrack. requiem for a dream had some damn good music that played well with the various scenes/emotions.

Yeah, the Peter Gabriel score to his "The Last Temptation of Christ" was pretty much perfect for the occasion.
