are you kidding?? this past olympia has shown that not even yates in his prime could hold a candle to Ronnie, including his back.

There's NOTHING tough about making this call! Yates' back was the best of all time! NO ONE has ever even come close! Coleman may be bigger everywhere else but his back......no way!!!

Anyways, Ronnie Coleman has THE best back, ever. If he comes in dry enough at this Mr. Olympia I think everyone will shutup about Yates. ;)

Yates,Haney Colombo there were a bunch of nice backs. Yates definitely took it to the next level, what a freak. But when Big Ronnie spreads them wings my jaw drops. His back is insane!

Ronnie coleman has a more complete, better back, if you take thickness, symmetry overall development and definition into account as a whole.

In my oppinion, Dorian's back development is thicker than Colemans as far as individual musculature is concerned. However, Ronnie has a wider back, and better lat development. It's a tough call. As far as genetics go, I believe that Ronnie has the upper hand on this one, cause his back COULD be as thick as dorians. And if he puts dorians thickness and his own width together, THEN you would have the best back of all time. But right now, taking everything into consideration I think it is dead even.

I'm not a fan of the new bodybuilders well from the 90's onwards things started getting a bit silly gear wise, like the older body builders from the 80's and 70's so i have to say there are only 2 which i would say were awesome and thats Franco Columbo and Lee Haney, but pushing it i would say Franco because his back was massive compared to his frame.

No offense but that sounds soooo gay. who do you train for? girls tell me all the time that im too big or that my muscles look scary, but trust me they care about personality a lot more. plus smart, mature girls dont want pretty boys, they want real men.

Coleman wins this one easy. He has about 20lbs more muscle on his frame also if not more. Colemans quads and hams are bigger and more ripped also. I dont think Yates could even place Top 6 in his prime today. Dennis James, Cutler, Ruhl, and Jackson would all place ahead of him. Shit a tiny Shawn Ray should have beat Yates one year that his bi was all torn and he was bloated as hell.

Definitely YATES-------I`ve never found the reason why he retired after winning 6 Olympia titles.He could have won more,assuming he did`nt tear up anymore muscles,(torn bicep,quad,etc.)

i give the nod to dorian because of overall better hardness and symmetry. ronnie has that weird left lat thing that he's always had

and since we're talking about "the best", it ends up being some nitpicky stuff that separates them.

no disrespect to ronnie though. he is one bad mofo.

Flex Wheeler was THE SHIT. I just don't see how people can think anyone else had better genetics. I understand that it's all subjective, but damn...that guy had some of the fullest muscle bellies, bird joints, craziest symmetry, and onion peel skin, it was crazy.

Barry Sanders by far. He retired early out of respect for Walter Payton's record only to see Emmit's sorry ass take the glory. BTW Yates had a better BACK. I've never seen this kind of thickness on someone's back.

Check page 3 for a picture of Kazmaier in his prime - he never bodybuilded for a second but had the best back of all times imo - what a fcking animal.

of course arnold is the greatest ever. he started the sport. and then became a superstar in other avenues. the pros these days are washed up after there prime.

You'll never look like those freaks anyways. trust me, i juice hard, lift and eat religiously, and I'm a far cry away from looking "circus act" If you cannot look like a freak w/out juice, you will not look like one with it. Genetics draw the fine line really fast, not just your genetic makeup and look, but your genetics to put on some odd amount of muscle, some people can slap on more muscle than others.

Id rather have Arnolds body period! He looks real, and much more solid, imo. I know those guys are bigger, but arnolds a classic! classics never die.

ahead of his time, without a shadow of doubt, but look at the lower back, its all saggy n shit. the other 2 are just freakish, i would never want to get that big
