calveless wonder

New member
is it anavar or test for women? my girlfriend has tried low doses of my DHT cream (andactrim) which i used for my gyno and it helped a little i guess....
i've also given her low dose test before and it helped but not like we anticipated.

FYI she's on HRT so she wants something she can take long term to boost her libido.

is anavar worth a shot?

What does her doctor say? Libido isn't really a reason to self-prescribe AAS for long term use.

her libido has been completely shot...to the point of non existent. in this case it is. It happened ever since she went off Depo Provera and Premarin (conjugated estrogen) for a period of a few months.

since then she started taking premarin again and just recently added Provera (not depo) and her sex drive is still non existent.

she doesn't have insurance at the moment so going to an Endo really isn't an option...

Well, I guess to that point, if you are looking to "experiment", var is going to be your best bet -- least sides, etc, sensitivity increase, etc. I guess when a guy is talking "libido enhancement" from AAS they are thinking of how it affects them and I'm not sure if its quite the same for women, i.e. the degree of 'horniness'.... But var will introduce the least sides. Women can easily run var for 3-4 months, I've heard some up to 6 month cycles. Especially at a low dose (e.g. 5-10 mg/day) I don't know if you are looking for somethign that she can run for the rest of her life or somethign like that -- but there I'd tell you to go find a different doc -- don't look to var for somethign like that. Look at the short term first.

I can't speak to something like very low doses of test or anything like that.
