Bench Shirt Help

CrimsonKing

New member
ok.. after 14 weeks on westside and into my 2 year of weight training I'm now thinking about entering a meet this winter/early spring.

Since my weakest lift the is the bench I figuere that is what I should invest in first since $$ is a limiting factor. (i.e. can't afford ot go buy all the stuff). Can you folks give me a recommendation on a bench shirt? What should I look for? What should i avoid?

Thanks!

Try a Titan Fury. You can pick these up for about 70 bucks. You will have a little more comfort zone if you arent sized exactally right. Also, an HD blast from Inzer isnt a bad shirt, but I think the Titan would be better IMO.

I have a double denim Inzer that I'd send you...but I'm not sure that 250 would budge the bar.

Call inzer as well as a few other companies and see what they suggest...

Nevermind...talk to Irishpower, Hannibal, Spatts, 1-dawg, and is Powerlifter Jay still around???

dont get a denim until your bench is approaching 500. less weight wont move bar.

i recommend an poly of some sort. inzers are good stuff but others probably have better experience with these than me.

You could get away with a single ply denim, which is what I woudl do. Also, don't get teh back completely opened. With a 250lb bench you wouldn't get thebar within 8 inches ofyour chest. Go ahead and havet hem put velcro on it, but don't cut the back all the way out.
