Before And After

Lestat

MVP
EF VIP
I know Cornholio wanted to do a before and after.. not sure how this fits in with his time frames but here ya go.

First pic is September 2002.. second pic is just a couple weeks ago in April.. basically 6 months.

I was bulking strong until January when I was at 213.

Cut hardcore down to 189..

At this pic I'm at about 190.

BF% just around 10%

I still feel small and puny.. probably because I am.

I'd like to get all feedback, good, bad, positive, negative, flames, women wanting to have sex with me, men wanting to have sex with me.. whatever. If I was worried about my ego I wouldn't post this in Chat.

Oh yeah.. if someone could post this for the non-plats I would really appreciate it.

Yeah.. can non-plats see that link too? works for me.

Since when am I your "borly??"

I'm non plat and i can see it.

bro you dropped some serious pounds there.

nice work!! how tall are you?

6'2" and a total ectomorph. Ran competative cross country and track most of my life.

Looking good man. I see you took your time out to wear the same clothes.. or maybe that means you're a dirtbag.

You should dig up some of Happy Scrappy's pics. He is your age, height and ran cross country all his life and then took up lifting. You'd have a nice idea of what you'd look like on gear. Not that you're planning on it, but HS went from a 6'2" long distance running stickpole to a 220lb dude with sub 10% bf.

Yeah my eventual goal is to be 230... 220 but super lean would be good. Need a solid 20-30lbs more to get there. Natty for now.

I am 6'2'' and I used to weigh around 190 lb...Now I weigh 212 lb..

All the running you do shows ..You look lean and fit....Bulk up and keep the running in check...

Good work man! How long have you been lifting seriously? I think you should definitely stay natural for a while until you can't gain anymore.

been lifting seriously about 2 years.. another half assed year before that. Gained 30 solid lbs.

Can't see a difference? Who said that? LOL -- that's nuts. The difference is clear in the fat loss alone.

Also, I think, Lestat is wearing pants... or shorts... so you might not recognize him without his cock showing. :)

People have to remember that you "were" a competitive runner before. With that in mind, you make incredible gains in 2 years.

LMAO, so THATS what was different ;)

Great change for 6 months. Nice work!

What was your workout and diet like for those 6 months. Were you consistent?

Well the first pic was in September, and I pretty much continued bulking moderately until the end of December.

My bulking diet is simple.. eat anything and everything in site. Shoot for TONS of protein but also eat desserts, sugary sodas, whatever I can to get more cals.

Then January 1st I started my diet. It was a new years resolution and it was only 6 weeks because I was going on vacation to Whistler February 15th.

For those 6 weeks I cut out ALL simple sugars. I was very strict. I may have had a SMALL cheat a couple of times in that six weeks, but not much. People thought i was insane. I was eating a super high protein, moderate fat, LOW carb diet. 90% of the fat was unsaturated. Basically lots of egg whites, chicken breasts, turkey, I cut back on milk drastically.

I used NYC.. started with one tab a day for the first two weeks.. then moved to 2 tabs a day.. then 2 tabs 2 times per day. It is great as an appetite suppressant and to give more energy when you lack it from carbs.

I also ran 3-4 times per week pretty intensely. I'd do 30 mins on the treadmill.. sometimes in the morning, sometimes post workout in the evening. I used Yohimburn on days that I ran.

I'm still pretty lean now, as you can see in the pictures.. but I was leaner before. I did lose some muscle with all the cutting which I would like to get back (and then some!).

Nice job Lestat. Keep charging towards your goal brother. You can do it!!! You sure put forth a lot of dedication in that bulking/cutting job. Hats off.

doesnt look like you put on much muscle mass. but you did get leaner, esspecially in the hip region, girls love that. Great job.

I am the same height and I used to run all the time. When I started lifting I was 180lbs around 7% BF. This past winter I bulked up to 255 at 13% BF right now I am cutting for the summer and am at 240 at 10%.

My suggestion is if you are serious about the weights quit running. If you are just trying to be fit and athletic by all means continue. Running is very catabolic and your cortisol levels rise when you run which makes it very difficult to get big. I am not saying it is impossible to get big while running but it makes things hard for sure. Stick with walking and light cycling. If you insist on running take up sprinting. Sprinters seem to be able to hold onto their size as compared to distance runners. You are very lean right now and I think once the summer is over you should focus on bulking if that is what you are serious about. Remember your goals. If getting big is what you want focus 100% on that and if it is something else focus on it instead.

Good luck and I hope I helped,

P
