Beautiful F powerlifter?

Perkele, natural.

Hell, I almost do 200, clean and raw. I've only been training for 6 months or so, and started at 95 pounds.

200 is not a big bench...you don't need drugs for that. You just have to get these silly little numerical limitations out of your head.

Most guys at "gyms" and "fitness centers" think their 200 bench is big. They are limited by their own beliefs of what's possible.

In European Championships (IPF) she was third with that 200 bench. The best female BP lifters (IPF) do come from Europe. I know many who do great lifts in the gym but when they go out to lift in real competition their benchpress result goes down like a cows tail. You can probably take 30lbs out of your bench result.

Sure there are always those who are more gifted and talented than the others........

I dont think their is a human on this planet that thinks 200lbs is a big bench LOL Unless of course you meant females.

NYM, I agree. But you should come to my old "fitness center" some time and watch the guys wrap their wrists and get psyched up for 2 wheels. It's hilarious.

...for some of them, it's not even their body weight!

There's a BIG difference between benching like a BB and benching like a PLer in form, though. Could account for the lower numbers many guys are used to.

I’m very nice at any gym I train at…but always loud and obnoxious..but I was this close to popping these juiceheads bubble last night at the gym..apparently MONDAY is CHEST day..no matter WHAT gym we train at…and I just got finished benching the most weight I have benched in 2 yrs since my injury and then handed the bench over to like 8 juice heads…so as I am doing my next exercise I hear this kid grunting and yelling and psyching himself out, so I look up..thinking he must be attempting 5 plates or something and the idiot has 315lbs on the bench…now I’m not taking anything away from people who do 315 but cmon, a stupid juicehead and he pyschs himself out for a measly 315… and he wasn’t some small kid, he was maybe 230ish.

And yeah spatts I see those guys who wear belts/straps/wraps when they bench like 225, but then again, I don’t like to make fun of naturals, good for them, but when I see juicheads lifting weights that some girls I’ve dated can lift..i have to laugh.

and yeah i know about BB bench vs PL bench..i see these kids boucne 405 off their chest and barely do one rep..and I tell them they would be lucky if they could pause with 335 with the way they bench 405

There's nothing wrong with a 200 bench, if you are progressing up from less. Not a bad word to say about improvement. I'm talking about these guys at the gym that do the same 2 wheels for a year...never get any better. They've decided it looks like alot on the bar, and they are content.

Completely agree...I remember when 2 wheels was the goal. And I also don't have a problem with someone getting "psyched up" for a 200 lb bench...if that is 110% effort...do whatever it takes.

However, like you said...the people that do the SAME bench and bicep Monday. And stay stuck at 225 (using every cheat in the book) for years are the ones that get me. Natural or not...if you are stuck at a certain point for that long...you need to change your training. However, many of these people are too close minded to try something different. And they wonder why they aren't making progress....so they blame it on drugs or genetics...or anything else under the sun.

Youre right VDL...some of my favorite classes to watch are the lower weight classes. Elaine Grimwood is a legend:

ElaineDoorGreyscale.jpg

Shown here at 97 pounds, she can:

Squat...320
Bench...145
Deadlift...315

I got wood!!!!!

When someone said Grimwood I thought they were talking about that Tamara Grimwood. I was going to say she's one ugly woman, but from the picture above, they must have been talking about a different Grimwood.

I'm sorry if I sound sexist, but I prefer my women short and petite with dark hair. I like my women to be a little soft. 5'3" ans 105 lbs fits me nicely.
