Here's one vote hoping that he doesn't break Mac's record. Bonds is seen as a total asshole by most & here's why I believe....Simply, that he stands there & watches his homeruns for like 5 seconds before he decides to run his punk-ass around the bases. If you could read the dudes mind, I'd be willing to bet a nut that he is thinking to himself..."Goddamn, I am soooo fucking awesome", or some shit like that. Also the fact that he says that people who dont want him to break the record simply because he's black is an insult to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has experienced REAL racism in their life. I, for one, could care less what color he is...He's an arrogant asshole! He just happens to be an arrogant black asshole. And just for the record, I'd also be willing to bet that out of the TONS of people who hate Bonds & dont want to see ANY of the prestigious records in baseball associated with him, that 95% of them would be tickled pink if Sosa were to break Macs record. Sosa(also a minority)is a class act, and at least on camera, comes off as a genuinely happy guy, who appreciates the game, the fans, and everything he has earned. Bonds has none of those attributes. Hopefully, he'll choke like he usually does. Too bad it aint postseason yet.

Im from the Pittsburgh area & am still pissed off at Bonds for lobbing that eaphus ball into homeplate that Sid Bream beat out with a goddamn kneebrace on in the 92 NLCS. I remember the reporters asking him about his pisspoor throw afterwards & his response was "I dont care, I'm out of here anyway!"(referring to his impending free agent move to SF). Let me tell you(or yunz as we Burghers say)that Bonds, with the exeption of Clemente, was argueably the best player to ever wear a Pirate uniform. That being said, people in this town STILL hated the guy. He was booed all the time for his shit attitude. The guy has been trying to convince himself ever since he first got recognized, that people hate him for this reason or that one. He is one of those people that will never look in the mirror & realize that its HIM with the problem & not everyone else. Fuck him.

If Mac were to have been healthy the past 2 years, he would be approaching Mays for #3 on the all time HR list. He has had a absolutely terrible year this year, but has still manages to pop I think 27 HR's despite not playing 1/2 the year. I just hope that dude gets his game back because he has looked kind of pathetic at times this year. I'd hate to see him go out(if he retires soon)like that. He's still got a few years left if he stays healthy.

Get this. Bonds has refused to take the team picture for the past 2yrs(?). Never eats with the other players. Never travels with the other players. Has his own (staff) to handle things for him.

Ok,Ok, thats a valid point, but let me give you another perspective on that 10k/HR. Bonds annual salary is(or was when he initially signed with the giants, it may be higher now)7, SEVEN Million dollar/syear. Thats not including his signing bonus, contract incentives & bonuses, team stock options, endorsements, & whatever else he makes money on. Keeping those numbers in mind, lets just say that a person(any person, not Bonds), has 1 million dollars in the bank. And lets say, for the sake of arguement that the interest he/she is earning on that figure is 3%. That ends up being $30,000/year in interest ALONE on ONE million dollars. Now, remembering the figures I gave you on Barry's income---How much money do you think that HE has stashed away???? 10 grand is 10 grand, & neither you or I would turn it down if it was offered, but to Bonds it is the equivalent of me scraping the change out of the ashtray in my car, sending it in to the relief fund, & then calling myself generous for doing it! Its PENNIES to him. Now this IS(hopefully) a free country & noone can tell the dude that he SHOULD have donated more, but I just thought I would share that perspective on him.

I talked to Dusty a couple of weeks ago and asked him about Bonds......guess what he didn't have a negative thing to say about him at all. Of course I wouldnt expect him to rag on his star to me anyway....but...... Who said he doesn't travel with the team....... You think he has his own plane? He doesn't eat with the team? You have been in the clubhouse and know this to be true huh? Guess what...... Jeff kent doesn't talk to anyone either!!!!! He reads his hunting mags and keeps to himself.

As for the money.......there are a lot of rich mofo's that probably aren't donating even close to what Barry is..... How the fuck do you know he is only donating 10K for every HR and thats it? BTW.....who the hell said 10K isn't enough. A million bucks to someone like Barry isn't going to last forever or even close. Once you are in that lifestyle the maintance cash alone would blow your mind. And yes his donations along with yours, mine, George Spellwins and everyone elses will be tax deductible......does that mean it isn't a good jesture? At $7million per year what do you think the taxes are on that.......ever think about it? How about $2.24 Million. Then throw in the dues for Union, clubhouse dues, charity donations, etc...... all that shit adds up. He probably pays more in dues than most of the people on here earn in a year.

I cant understand why more pitchers aren't throwing at his head the next time he comes up after pulling that shit. As for throwing at his head.....Clemens or any pitcher might get away with it once...but then they are thrown out of the game....what good does that do? Plus if you throw at him it says " I am a pussy and I suck cuz I can't get you out so I am going to try to hit you." Now if he hits a HR and does that piroquet shit and then gets a dirt nap...everyone and their brother knows he got that shit on purpose.

The record is his. Pitchers try not to give him anything good to hit and he still is whacking the shit out of the ball to make up for Kent not having as good as years as previous. He hits bad pitches from a hitters stand point as well as the good pitches.
