Bands (calling all Aussies)

GR8SCOT

New member
im thinking of getting some bands for my squat and bench training but loathesome to pay the exchange rate to the US

$100 for 2 bands is a bit rude.

Im wondering if anyone knows of alternative to the jumpstretch brands that are either localy available or different countries ?

I see you are starting up westside now.....how you doing gr8scot??

i dont have bands yet.
do you have rebel sports in your town?

they can get theraputic sports bands (make sure they are not tubes) i think they are called therabands or something

maybe email the dudes at www.burlz.com and see if they can get you anything

wait till you add the postage....it will cost you more than 100 aust

I would definitely NOT use therebands in place of Jump-Stretch, they WILL snap on you in the middle of an exercise, it is just too risky

What if you had someone here pay for them and send them to you? I would recommend toppers supply or jumpstretch inc for the bands.

now if you had a way of controling the exchange rate id be mightly happy ! Ive got friends stateside who could order/buy the bands without a problem biggest drama is the cost, whatever it is in US$, double it and thats the cost to us Aussies ! include postage into the equation and it starts getting expensive. (hint to any Yank, cheap holiday in the land downunder)

Endpoint, yeah mate, ive put off getting on board for too long and i want to start pushing myself. Seeing pics of B_fold flipping tyres just seemed to strike a cord heh.

Guess in the end its money well spent.

I was all set to order my bands and then i found out how much the shipping is... 2 bands @ $18.50 each.. and $92 for shipping ! US no less. so all up with exchange rate, im about $250 out of pocket if i order the bands. Very depressing to say the least.

Man, I just went out and bought some rubber tubing. It has worked for me and didn't cost me but 12$ I think. I got them at a fitness center. The guy said he mad never sold them for lifting but for recovery. I would look into that, it saved me a bunch of money!!
