back muscles keep getting pulled

I have this problem the past few weeks where when i train my shoulders doing dumbbell shoulder presses i seem to pull muscles in both my back and neck/traps. it feels like a rubber brand snapping and then i am super sore in that specific area. anything i am doing wrong that would be causing this? i am stretching plenty before my workout.
 
don't stretch before your workout!! not sure how many times i have to explain this simple science on these forums.

you should be WARMING UP. especially those of you who live in cold climates.

stretch AFTER your workouts, not before.
