Awesome quick lunch

This is probably common sense to a lot of people or "nothing new"...but it's new to me, I'd just never really thought of it.

My fiance and I started a "community tub" of chicken breasts sliced into strips. Every morning we wake up, take a whole wheat wrap, put lettuce in it and then sprinkle a little shredded cheese on it followed by one quick stripe/squirt of zesty italian dressing (it doesn't take much!)...then grab a few of the chicken strips from the tupperware in the fridge and boom!

wrap that sucker in cling-wrap like a big ol burrito and microwave it for 60 seconds at lunch...that is one helaciously good tasting wrap with only about 30 grams of carbs, a little fat from the cheese and dressing, and protein from the chicken...Next week I'll be eating two at lunch (damn wraps only come 5 to a bag!)

I like the idea of the tub of sliced chicken...I'm gonna start using that. How long does it stay good in the fridge for? couple days? I usually just make two breasts in the morning, eat one for lunch and one for dinner. But I like the idea of just snackin on them.

Bro we cook a whole bag to put in the "community tupperware" on Sunday nights and we usually eat the whole bag worth by Wednesday..then we just cook the 2nd bag to last til the weekend......and the chicken is fine. Just make sure you keep it sealed.

If you really want to be ambitious, grill all the breasts out on your outdoor grill.....Usually we just stick them all in the oven for 40 minutes but if you stick them on the grill it makes the wraps that much better.

A big tub of sliced cooked/grilled chicken is handy in so many ways....

lasts a week!

I used to do sort of the same but with tuna and chicken salad...I would make a batch with chopped celery and hard boiled egg whites..Store it in the fridge in bulk inside a rubber maid container...It also makes for a quick lunch or snack...take a few scoops slop it on some wheat bread and your hooked up..

Mayonnaise....yuk...:)
I like the new pull off lid cans of tuna that have about 100 calories (when dieting). They have a lemon pepper flavor, no mayonnaise, takes like 30 seconds to eat. Sure, people around you think you are eating a tin of cat food, but who cares...:)

I do that too... grill 7-8 chicken breasts at once, but them up into bit size pieces and toss them in a tupperware. When it comes time for lunch/dinner I put a bunch on a plate and heat them up. It's cool because it's easier to measure out weights/portions this way if you're counting macros.
