I met a new primary care doctor (legit) and told him I was taking testosterone and he offered to write me a Rx and said it would be safer for me to take it knowing the correct dose, etc. Suggested I call this drug compounding place and see what I want and let him know. "I write prescriptions for testosterone for people with wasting diseases and for guys who just want to get bigger and stronger." He mentioned he has also prescribed deca to patients.
At this point I'm supposed to:
1) Call the compounder and find out if I want to do it through them. He said I can do it through pharmacy but compounder would give it to me in 10ml vials making it more viable.
2) Get bloodwork done - he mostly wants to see red blood cell count
3) Tell him what I'm thinking and he writes me the script. When I said 200-400 a week he said that was totally in the range.
So with this knowledge, any tips ? Should I ask for anything specific or just count my lucky stars I can get some human grade test and just stick with the basics?
For the record I'm 29, compete in bodybuilding and powerlifting, been using off and on for 6 years, but I've been on the last year solid and have no intention of coming off.
