Reading this really makes me with I was competing, and I intend to eventually but not till I am at least to college. His description of Mendelson was particularly amusing.

Mendolsons benches - this was the big thing of the day. OK - this guy is huge and we all know he can bench but damn. He OPENED with 804. No, you don't understand. He OPENED with 804. No.. I mean, I think in December with practice and a good day I can SQUAT 804 on a third in a canvas with briefs if I don't walk it out. HE OPENED with 804 IN THE BENCH.. no, you don't get it. He had 804 in his hands. Down and up - slowed some as it got to the top but he got it. Then he went to 821. IT was faster than the opener.
