I know this is probably a loaded question but....if money wasn't an issue, I'd be very excited!
 
Unless someone actually had that much disposable income that we, as a couple, weren't using for something better for our lives, I maybe wouldn't mind. I'd probably feel awkward about getting a gift that big/expensive regardless though, like "how do I repay that?"

I wasn't offended. I just asked what were the conditions of the gift? That's an expensive gift, sometimes that can create the sense of obligation. I just wanted to know like, okay so if you give me this car is it mine or are you just letting me drive your car whereas if I put a lot of miles on it will it get taken away or sold or... Whose car is it?

I dunno maybe I was being rude. Lol.

I go back and visit KC. Often. More than Mitch likes and now he wants to buy me this car....because it's got these features that would make travelling back and forth easier on me which is sweet but I was wondering Hmmm will I second guess putting the miles on a car I didn't buy or is there expectation I should Only go so many times etcThat's where I was going. It was an honest question lol

I just bought my wife a new car a couple months ago and she was not offended in the least. But the again her car before that was 18 years old.

I wanted to know if there were restrictions of any kind driving it, miles in particular. I just asked if there were any conditions that I needed to know about considering we don't agree on how often I travel.

I don't want a different car even if its nicer, even if he meant it to be nice if I don't have the exact same freedom I would have with a car I purchased myself.
