Attn Grapplers/Judokas/JiuJitsu guys!

Trolo

New member
Guys Im into judo/jiujitsu and about to start my first cycle ever. Im 5'8 155lbs and low bf (can see four pac). Ok Im about to start on 100mg winny and 40mg anavar a day for six weeks. Thats it quite simple for strength and speed. No test since I want to stay low in the weight division. Ok my question for you bros is how do I take the tabs daily? Like at what hours? I got 50mg winny tabs and 10mg anavar tabs. I heard winny makes you not sleep so I guess none before bedtime. Also will I need clomid or novaldex? How about glucosamine and milk thistle? Ive asked this question at 'bolex but Im still a super newbie in this so Id like different opinions. Thank you guys! :D

Vinny is going to kill your joins if you do it for very long. Which from my days grappling they'll hurt without any help. I never took anything when I was rolling so I can't help ya. You'll get some good answers here though.
Bump for some anwsers to a good bro

i'm a second degree br belt.. in judo..

fight at 198lb weight class...where do u work out? definitely try anavar it will give u great strength, but dont bother withty the winny , it can give u stiff joints!

First of all I'd throw in an injectible and tone down the oral dosage, that's way to high unless you want to risk permanent damage to your liver. (as someone else said to another in a different thread, see www.livertransplantinfo.com)

Trenbolone acetate injectible alone or with winny would suit your purposes nicely I think, without such a huge risk of damage to your liver. I'd go with 75mg of tren injected every day or every other day and with 20-40mg winny or anavar every day if I insisted on using an oral too.

Or, go with anavar 40-50mg every day for six weeks, but the effects won't be as potent. Either way, definately do not go with 140mg of orals per day as you have planned, if you care at all about your health.

And if you're scared of needles, just get over it, the pain is far less than anything you'd ever experience in grappling or a moderately intense workout, and often there is zero pain.

I don't want to be the voice of disent. But do you really want to move to the 198lb class? Having extra muscle doesn't alway make you a better grappler. It helps take - downs, but when you're on the floor it can make certain moves harder. In my once case it made the triangle choke nearly impossible( legs to big) amoungst others. It's a give a take. The best grapplers I know are long and lean.
You didn't say how old you were.

On another topic: It's far better to go down in weight than it is to go up. I my case I walked around at 210 (not fat) but when I competed I dieted down to the 198 class. Not very many people that I saw did this in MMA and with usually a 15 - 20 deficit between classes it helps to be the bigger guy at least as far as intimidation goes I won a lot of match simply because of this. So my point is do not fat up to the next higher weight

Damn the thing is that I already got my order of orals. How about if I lower the winny down to 50mg a day, 40mg anavar and 1500mg glucosamine plus 1000mg milk thistle? Will that work out? How about clomid and novaldex will I need those? Thanks bros you are cool as fuck

You didn't say what you body fat was. So if you could keep the same weight and change that into muscle that would be ideal. You should be ok with the Anvar that's about the mildest gear there is. Keep a clean diet and keep the mat time up.

Another thing, I didnt say Id want to move to 198lbs I actually want to stay at the 155lb mark or even lower would be better. I am good at my weight class but in practice I have trouble with bigger guys and I think with gear Id rule my division. That's why I chose winny and anavar to keep the weight gain low and even get more cut. Im 23 by the way. Ripped1979 when you do the triangle have you tried shifting your hips to your opponent's trapped arm side? That will help a lot on the triangle if you dont have the "edge" to sink the choke properly. Use a foot on his hip to shift to the side. Thanks again guys.

So how much winny should I finally take? 100mg or 50mg? And at what times should I take my dosis? Clomid & novaldex? will I need them?

Sounds like you have a good plan. Stay in the weight class but just cut it to the edge so you are the biggest guy. It wasn't Ripped1979 that was having trouble with triangles, it was me and my legs are big(years of heavy squats) occasionally I'll get one, but it's rare. Where I train everyones looking for it so it real hard to get those types of moves. I have to get the unexpected.

Personally do the anavar at 40. As both are 17aa and they are harmful to you liver. But if you insist on doing the winny I'd drop the winny 50mg and only do it for 4 weeks

Do a search on "Clomid frequently asked questions" that will tell you everything you need to know on the subject.
novaldex isn't needed here

split your anavar up in even doses throughout the day... stay away from the winny tabs if you are grappling.. maybe try some nandralone phenylpropinate.... fast acting deca.. it will hold less water than deca and give you solid energy/strength gains... this will also eliminate pretty much any joint pain you might already have....

milk thistle and glutamine are always good to take.

dg

fina and anavar works for me. anavar at 40mg /day like Dieslgr has suggested and 1cc ED of fina for 6wks. i'm into Muay Thai, Grappling and Hapkido. working on conditioning and speed. no more Test for me...maybe GH beginning next year..hehehev

I agree with this. This is my first cycle so I cant tell you much but I do know AS will help you with the power and explosioin for takdowns but on the ground dont matter what your on. And if you a muscle head you will gas very easily. I dont spar like i used to but i still mess around a little and ive put on 20lb in 8 weeks so far and my cardio went to shit. Your muscles will use up all your oxegen fast. Even though I feel 80% or more of MMA and NHB fighters are on AS I think it would be better to stay with something mild so you wont add lots of muscle.

That's the dumbest thing I have ever read. How about you lose the gear, and just train. Size and stength have absolutely nothing to with the Martial Arts. My fastest fight's where all from big, juiceheads, that had no concept on what Martial Arts is all about. If that was the case all powerlifters would be the best fighters. :newbie:

No argument here. The only problem comes is when you face up against a equally knowledgeable opponent that happens to have 15lbs of muscle on you. Then you might have a problem.

Genarr is correct. The "size doesnt matter" concept is bullshit if youre facing a skilled opponent? Why do you think weight classes were made if size doesnt matter? And give me a break gear definately gives a good edge in the martial arts. All top fighters are takin gear whether they compete in sport or mma matches. Even Bj Penn takes his good dosis of gear and hes 155lbs like me. I may be a newbie but not supid, bro! :D

Taking anavar and winny together should be fine. go with 40mg anavar and 50mg winny.

Ill thank Nimrod for this info...........

Here is a very interesting study I dug about Anavar. We all knew Ox was great, but now it is being said to reverse liver damage caused by 17-aa steroids, this article talks of winstrol.

Lipodermatosclerosis is a clinical disorder that includes acute inflammatory and chronic fibrotic stages.1 The chronic form is characterized by unilateral or bilateral hyperpigmented induration of the distal lower extremities, primarily in female patients with venous insufficiency. The indurated plaques are often painful and the legs frequently have a characteristic “inverted wine bottle” appearance. In addition, ulceration may develop and healing is often delayed. Therapeutic options for lipodermatosclerosis include elevation, compression stockings, ultrasound therapy, and oral stanozolol.

Stanozolol is a synthetic testosterone derivative with primarily anabolic (and few androgenic) effects that also has potent fibrinolytic properties.2 Presumably, it is the latter property that explains its successful use in the treatment of lipodermatosclerosis.3 However, major systemic side effects of stanozolol include sodium retention, hepatotoxicity, and lipid profile abnormalities.4 We describe a patient with chronic lipodermatosclerosis whose symptoms abated after treatment with stanazolol, but hepatotoxicity developed and the patient required alternative therapy.

The patient was a 54-year-old African American woman with a 15-year history of severe pain and discoloration of the lower extremities, from below the knee to the ankles, circumferentially. Her history was significant for rheumatoid arthritis, hypertension, and hypothyroidism; there was no history of deep vein thromboses. Her medications included prednisone (10 mg daily), levothyroxine (0.5 mg daily), fluvoxamine (25 mg daily), acetylsalicylic acid (650 mg twice daily), hydromorphone as needed, and multivitamins daily.

Approximately 10 years earlier, she underwent an empiric trial of potassium iodide for presumed erythema nodosum, without benefit. Subsequently, she was diagnosed as having lipodermatosclerosis and was treated with compression stockings, elevation, and ultrasound therapy, all without benefit. Clinically and symptomatically, she continued to progress, with increased hyperpigmentation, induration, and pain. At the time of presentation to us, there was symmetric induration and hyperpigmentation of the distal lower extremities, from the mid calf to the ankle. Involvement of both the anterior and posterior aspects of the legs resulted in an “inverted wine bottle” appearance. There was tenderness but no erythema or varicosities. Peripheral pulses (dorsal pedal and posterior tibial) were 2+ and symmetric. The clinical diagnosis was lipodermatosclerosis.

Her worsening pain and extension of the induration prompted a trial of stanozolol (2 mg daily), which resulted in marked alleviation of symptoms within 2 weeks of its initiation. Unfortunately, within 2 months her liver enzyme levels rose from normal baseline levels (alanine aminotransferase, 38 U/L; aspartate aminotransferase, 38 U/L) to 257 U/L (alanine aminotransferase) and 562 U/L (aspartate aminotransferase). Although the patient did not exhibit signs or symptoms of hepatotoxicity, the stanozolol was immediately discontinued, with full resolution of the enzyme abnormalities. A newer anabolic steroid was then started, oxandrolone (10 mg twice daily), because it had been reported to be less hepatotoxic.5 Within 2 weeks, she experienced a reduction in pain (from a score of 7/10 to 3/10) as well as subjective softening of the skin. After 3 months of oxandrolone therapy, her symptoms had continued to abate, and she decided to discontinue the medication. No abnormalities in liver enzymes were noted. Incidentally, several months later she was diagnosed as having an idiopathic cardiomyopathy (a literature search failed to find any reports of oxandrolone-induced cardiomyopathy).

Prolonged venous hypertension is postulated to facilitate the leakage of macromolecules, such as fibrinogen, into the dermis, where fibrin polymerization around capillaries can lead to a decrease in oxygen and nutrient delivery to the dermis. The use of fibrinolytic agents, such as stanozolol, is thought to alleviate lipodermatosclerosis through modulation of fibrin production. The newer anabolic steroid oxandrolone also has known fibrinolytic activity,5 but unlike the majority of oral anabolic steroids it undergoes limited hepatic metabolism and is associated with a lower incidence of hepatotoxicity. In our opinion, oxandrolone represents a therapeutic option for those patients with stanozolol-responsive lipodermatosclerosis in whom hepatic toxicity develops.

you can take anavar and winny together its not that bad..anavar is not even that bad for the liver..sometimes doc give 60-80mgs of anavar to people that have liver problems..creatine with anavar is good..helps me get more gainz and get more weight...dose that for everyone:)...also take ALA for the liver at 600-1000mgs/day along with some other liver protectors..drink a lot of water too....

Where did you hear that doctors give 60-80mgs for liver problems? That's WAY beyond the theraputic range

Your even dumber than I thought, and I thought you were pretty fuckin' stupid!! If you believe that size does'nt matter I can tell you have never seen any "real" Martial Artists' you stupid jackass!! And hey if this "Bj Penn" jumped off a bridge I hope your stupid ass follows him!!!!!!!!! Enough said !!!

Youve been injecting too much test bro. Go hit the weights, jackoff and then with a clear head think about the bullshit you just posted. Feel free to smack yourself in the nuts with a brick too.

Listen Cupcake, first I'm not on any gear. Why ??? Because I dont fuckin' need it to help my training. Not like some Candyass (that would be you, jerky) that I just met. The reason you need gear is because of your lack of knowledge in the Martial Art's, you stupid pinhead!! So do me a favor, try doing in the old way:blood, sweat, and tears. If the "old" way is'nt good enough, just remember you always knew who won and who lost. The loser was the dead one!!! Think about that next time you open your mouth!!!!!

Hey Cupcake:
Rule # 1
Martial Arts were never a sport, nor were they intended to be one day.

Rule #2
It because of unknowledgeable (hope thats not to big of a word for you) people like yourself that DONT know what their doing, are always looking for a way to "muscle" their opponant down, than to do it with techique.

Rule # 3
Get a clue on what your trying to do BEFORE you set a goal.

Rule # 4
Learn real Martial Arts, instead of just tackling someone to the ground. Why ?? Because you might get hurt really, really, bad by someone who does know what their doing (that would be me!!)

Good Luck with your "training", Cupcake!!!!!!!!!!

Let me first disclaim my following statements by saying they are mostly my opinion.
Some techniques are improved with strength, some are not, some are hindered by one's amount of muscle. Technique is a good deal of a match, but size and strength can help. Strength moreso though, i believe. One thing that i have always been told in sinking a choke is that "if you have to use any strength, you are doing it incorrectly" To the end i believe this is correct. But where strength comes into play is keeping one at bay while a set technique is performed. If your legs are weak it is hard to keep an opponent form passing guard and gaining the mount. No matter how strong you are in a situation when someone has your hips (through either luck or good technique) you are screwed. Strength is a benefit always, size is not. Use everything to add to your technique, not replace it.
Some comments in this thread have been purely derogatory and who cares with the name dropping "this competitor does this and..." Who cares. Stick to facts and your opinions, do not de-rail others opinions on account of personal differences, just argue them accordingly.

To summarize:
Gear does give an advantage, but only if your training is allready well-rounded. As with everything, build a foundation (technique) and then follow with all else. If someone can beat you with little contes regularly then aas usage willl probably not help; but if your training is good and a opponents is equally as good and you guys usually have very competitive fights, then this is where maybe a little added strength will come into play. AAS is not THE answer it is A possible supplement to the answer.
Just my two cents.

Well said, and I applude you, kaoz&zen!!!!! Finally, I have reached someone how knows what their talking about !!! This is so rare that I had to send you some Kama!!!

Seems like this Mr.Miyagi wannabe wont understand the truth between kicking air in a dojo and actual combat. If you think that a fight where both fighters are close in skill but separate greatly by weight is not one-sided then youre a moron. I am a purple belt in bjj and I agree that technique works greatly against opponents (regardless of weight) when theyre unskilled or have little time training but when an opponent outweighs me by more then 30-40lbs and have been training for a while (high bluebelt) things get different. Why do you think there are weight classes even in realityfighting-oriented sports? Stop watching your Don the Dragon Wilson ficks and get in touch with reality dumbass! There is no worse blind than that who doesnt want to see. Add that to your karate bible, Daniel-san!

O.k. Cupcake here we go again..Who said anything about kicking air in the first place. Second of all you can take that cute "purple belt" (ha, ha) of yours and I'll show you what it's worth. Next Cupcake I have 18 yrs of training on this "actual combat" discussion. When you mother was still wiping shit off your ass, I was training. And finally all these "phrases and movie stars" you keep talking about, evadently your the "movie dream boy" here. I refuse to even watch the things!!! But I guess you believe in them soooo much that you can't help but to watch (and believe) these stupid things. So do me a favor, PULL YOUR FUCKIN' HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS, COME UP FOR AIR, AND PLEEEEASE GET A CLUE!!!!!!! I think I'm done taking you to school now "dream boy"

I'm a blackbelt in BRA JiuJitsu and a Winny-Test cycle always did wonders. Just a little test. Not much. Just enough to keep the joints from hurting.

Anavar only cycle may be a good choice.

Fina will get you strong and cut but I'm afraid you will be cramping like a bitch while sparring. My muscles spasm bad when on Fina.

Guys, try to focus on the question to the thread please, and do not flame (Mr. Freeze). We can be civilized here.

Trolo,
I would reccomend adding a small dose of Deca (maybe 200mg/ week) with your winny/anavar stack. Deca is great for keeping your joints nice and lubricated, and you will not put on noticable mass at that dose. A dose of 400mg and up will start bulking you up, which I'm assuming is not what you want.

Re: woooooo HOLOD ON THERE FREEZE...

Ripped 1979-- That is the last thing I am trying to say!!! I think Judo and Jujuitsu are EXTREMELY effective combat systems. I have th utmost respect for both of these two sytems. My ONLY problem is with people who ACTUALLY believe that steroids will make their TECHNIQUE better. Yes they will make you stronger, but they won't help for technique that you dont already have. I apoligize if that's the way people have viewed my statement. The thread got so heated we completely veared off of the orginal argument. And for that I apoligize sincerly.

Arona-- Please read the above, and do not take the other statements from before as a personal attack to you or your Art. Like I said, I have NO arguments, in your system for effectiveness. For I too, am a Jujuitsu student. So you and I are on the same page. If you took this personal, then I apolgize for that. Let me finish by saying "Please keep the art of TRADITION, alive and well", and good luck to EVERYONE who reads this.

AUDIO 8 ,
Thanks for the statement, and bringing us a reality check. I will be more civilized. (Bad, Mr. Freeze, I hate it when he comes out!!) I really should take those pills the Dr. gave me. (ha, ha) All kidding aside, Thanks again AUDIO 8 for bringing us back down to earth.............Freeze

This thread has turned into a fucking little kids' 'karate' class mentality. Knock off the damn "my dad can beat your dad's ass" bullshit. We're here to learn and to imform, if you have a personal problem with someone, pm them or deal with it like Arona did "put up or shut up". Fighters don't act like this, grow up
