I have an outline in that post of carb-reintroduction. My suggestion is that you do yours a bit slower so it takes you about 2 weeks - 3 weeks to reintroduce carbs back into your diet.
That's the bad thing with atkins & keto. Once you're done "dieting" the weight recound is significant due to the carb re-introduction to one;s daily nutrition regimen. IMO, carb cycling is far more superior to atkins and/or keto.

If done properly, a post-CKD regiment will only yield muscle glycogen and water weight - that is what most people relate to the 'weight gains' after CKD. Every gram of carbs taken in brings in 2g of water; thus, you will retain water post-CKD but that's about it. There is no extraordinary post-CKD problem if one handles it correctly.
