I'm wondering at what level of body fat percentage would a woman would have hardly any breast tissue left? 15%? 10%?

I've been reading info and learning so much from this site over the past six months, but this is my first time acutally asking a question... so please be nice... even if you think my question is dumb. :)

For me it didn't have as much to do with body fat as it did the development of pec muscles; probably because I wasn't very big to begin with. Right now my bf is high, and I'm pretty much all muscle there. I'm sure one of the competitors will come along soon and give you some idea on body fat %.

Glad you finally posted. :)

Oh wow, Spatts, I'm so flattered that you answered me! In the months I've been reading and learning, yours is one of the opinions I respect the most on here, your advice is always exellent, and your strength is SO totally inspiring to me! I'm not trying to be a kiss-ass, I just really appreciate all the things I've learned from you over the past while. Six months ago, I was doing everything wrong, eating wrong (once a day, a Lean Cuisine), exercising wrong (all cardio), and as a result, looking and feeling like a big bag o crap. And I wasn't even skinny-fat, I was fat-fat! :) BUT, I've been on your "cutting diet", and on RealGains 3 day split program and making some real nice progress. I'm at 19% and aiming for 15-16%... hopefully with a little bit of boob left. :)

That's awesome! I know I learn something new here every day; glad you're finding some great info too. :)

It depends a lot on your individual genetics. Breasts are made up of both fat and breast tissue. We're all pretty similar in regards to breast tissue (the milk glands, etc.), but what sets us apart are our genetic fat storage patterns. You can have two women with the same body fat percentage, yet where they store their fat might be different. Women who naturally store more fat in their breasts will notice some degree of shrinkage as they lose overall bodyfat, but not to the degree of women who don't store much fat in the breasts to begin with. So there really is no set %. Regardless, boobs or no boobs, you can't beat the look of well-developed pec muscles.

I've always been a 32 A-B size. And when I competed, went into the negatives. Goddamn concave.

Which is exactly why I train - I kinda like my pecs.

I remember when Rachel McLish had that nice, detailed pec line. I've always preferred that rather than "jugs". "Jugs" get in the way of physical activity anyhow.

I heard that!

As for me, my bf is testing at 15-16.5% and I can barely pack them into a C. Unfrickingbelieveable. I'm genetically cursed elephanitis of the boob; my mom went way beyond DD when she became overweight.

If guys like them so much let them have 'em.
