Aromasin Raised my Estrogen? how is this possible??

i've never taken any AAS or any pro hormones.

my first blood work had high estrodial so i decided to use anti estrogen to see if i could bring that down.

i took 10 days of aromasin at 25mg

First blood work

Test: 717 to 1248 (range 348-1197)
LH: 4.78 (1.7 to 8.6)
FSH: 2.0 (1.5 to 12.4)
Estradiol: 53.7 (7.6 to 42.6)


New Blood Work:

Test: 1248
LH: 18
FSH 7.0
Estradiol: 112.7

HOW DID THE ESTROGEN RAISE SO MUCH? i thought i was using anti estrogen??

you posted a thread before regarding this and i told you to not touch aromasin. now you made your problem worse.. drugs do not solve problems, they make them worse, i've said it a million times.

now just stop the aromasin and leave it be. your original bloodwork was fine, you panicked over high estradiol levels which fluctuate.. its fine. try cleaning up your lifestyle more and re-test..

I took aromasin 12 days ago at 25mg for 10 days in a row.

test was taken yesterday morning, two days after last dosage of aromasin

the aromasin results are temporary i wouldn't even pay attention to them

i'm in the growing minority of people who don't believe in a pill for every ill. aromasin is loved by many guys who preach it and say you should run it even by itself to get a testosterone spike and all that. i'm not a fan of that strategy. but hey thats me.

Im not on any medication at all. i haven't had any anxiety the past weeks, its been really good.

The only other thing i take is DIM, should i continue to take that?

im just trying to make sense of it, why would aromasin double my e2 levels?

I agree, Steve. It's amazing what diet, sleep and exercise can cure. Depression, fatigue, aches, pains, anxiety. A lot of it is chemicals in the brain making one feel a certain way, and that can be straightened out a lot (in a lot of cases) without a single pill.

try to get a 3rd blood test something is not right with your LH and E levels. how do u get DIM ? eating your broccoli ? or using some supplement if so please list the ingredients.

Yeah I really don't understand the high LH.

Maybe my whole bloodtest is inaccurate?

i've noticed today that my muscles got so sore during my workout today that i had to leave early.

my hands were trembling as i drank water and they are still in pain as i type.

i was ale to lift as much as i usually do, just had a lot of pain.

What could be going on?

DIM helps get rid of bad estrogen (taken as part of natty PCT, and women going through menopause). It is silly for you to be taking DIM if your not on post cycle bro. When you take a DIM supplement, I have read that you can get Clomid type side effects which make you emotional and paranoid. SOund familiar.

but i got my bloodwork checked again and its off the charts.... :/

Test: it just said over >1500 (348-1197)
LH: 21.1 (1.7-8.6)
FSH: 6.8 (1.5-12.4)
Estradiol: 172.9 (7.6-42.6)

Whats going on with me, im starting to get scared

^^^ you need to stop everything and wait 2 full weeks before running a blood test. including the DIM, including anything

if your LH is still high then you've got a problem my friend. here is what i found:

In men, high LH levels may indicate primary testicular failure. This can be due to developmental defects in testicular growth or to testicular injury, as described below.
Developmental defects:

• Failure to develop gonads (gonadal agenesis)
• Chromosomal abnormality, such as Klinefelters syndrome

Testicular failure:

• Viral infection (mumps)
• Trauma
• Radiation
• Chemotherapy
• Autoimmune disease
• Germ cell tumor

LH response to GnRH can help differentiate between primary dysfunction (failure of the ovaries or testes) and secondary disorder (a problem involving the pituitary or hypothalamus). Once the baseline level of LH has been measured, a dose of GnRH is given by injection. A subsequent increase in the level of LH indicates that the pituitary responded to the GnRH and points to a disorder involving the ovaries or testes. A reduced level of LH shows that the pituitary did not respond to the GnRH and suggests a disease involving the pituitary or hypothalamus.

i understand the estrogen is high because of the high testosterone, but are LH levels this high when test levels are this high?

This experience has scared me away from taking anything. I feel like my body has reacted in an awkward way, i've read tons of men taking an AI on this forum and no one has had this ginaormous jump in hormones

I took Aromasin on a short-lived Test Prop cycle (I stopped, I was getting test flu bad) and I took the Aromasin 25mg eod, stuff made me feel angry, sick, like total sh*t. It was definitely the Aromasin, because I was running it a week after my last pin of prop, and I felt relieved and awesome a day after my last pill. Never again. If I run another cycle of aromatizing compounds, it will be Proviron and Forma-Stanzol for me.

i didnt have any such symptoms, i had no symptoms.

I def feel a surge in my lifts at the gym, i'm lifting 10-15% more than my usual weight, thats prob the high test coming into play. very minor increase in agression, not really sure

I just had a thought, what if what i took was accidentally a serm like tamoxifen citrate. the half life range for that is 5-21 days, maybes thats whats still in my system???



In any case if that is true then in two weeks my tests should be clear. I will just wait it out two weeks and go from there

Old thread but I would definitely claim that what he took was a SERM,most likely Clomid,and not Aromasin.
