Arnold Classic Powerlifting Event 2002

Man, this year is going to be crazy sick at the Arnold. Chabbot said he will retire if he does not win, Jamie Harris will be there and he hit 770 at his last meet, Halbert is a FREAK OF NATURE (my hero) and going to do something insane, and there are new 700 pound benchers come out of the wood work right now. It is going to be the place to be. And there is something like 10 kagabillion people there.

Any of you all going to be there? Let me know. Come up and say hi. I will be there hanging at the PowerMag booth. It is only about 4 month away.

Any prospects to take home the hardware? Hmmm?

I will be the guy in the white PowerMag polo that looks mad . I am the short one and Jake is the tall one. We are probably going to be giving away free posters, powerlifting bumper stickers or something like that too. Should be cool.

It will be weird because I have talked with a bunch of people over the web and on the phone and never met in person. Gonna be interesting to say the least.

I don't know where the name Jake "The Model" Jones comes from, but I know Jake loves it. Hee hee Sorry Jake had to do it.

I plan on lifting the qualifier. I will definitely stop by. My bet to win the Arnold -- Halbert has to be the favorite right now. If Harris or Big Clay hit the big 800 then who knows. It depends on what weight class Halbert shows up in and how much over 750 he goes.

i train with him, he amazes me every time i train with him, he is a true frk, and one helluva nice guy too!
his projected max at the arnold is 805, i think he will go beyond that, we will have to wit and see..

he inspired me to compete, i am scheduled to compete in 3 weeks, in the shw, junior div, i will be at 530+ on bench and 590+ on dead, i think i will do ok, hopefully ill get one of those cool ass trophies
