ulter said:What kind of Badger would say the arimidex competes for a receptor and then call that receptor an enzyme? You are right, arimidex does only inhibit 50% of the estrogen in a male body and it has been shown to increase test levels by 58% at the same time. Which is good because if it blocked too much estrogen it would inhibit your gains. You need some E to bring a little water to those muscles so they can grow. Arimidex is still the best product there is to inhibit E, but anyone who thinks it will inhibit ALL E and absolutely stop everyone who takes it from getting gyno no matter how much test they take is mistaken. It's not bulletproof. But I will say this if you get gyno while you are taking arimidex you are extremely sensitive and would have no chance without it. If you use test, take it.
I agree with what alot of what you are saying. I am just trying to get the message across that it is not "bulletproof", like you said. The more testosterone that is used theexponentialy less effective it is because of having to compete with all the testosterone for the receptors on the aromatase enzymes (why do you think you can't say enzymes have receptors?).
I think that 50 percent estrogen inhibition is not enough. Lets say you will get roughyl 40 pg/ml of estrogen in your system per week fo every 100mg of test that you shoot (at higher dosages there is probably more estrogen made per 100mg because there are les pathways availabel to the testosterone other than conversion to estrogen). If you shoot 1000mg you can get an estradiol level in your system of 400pg/ml, this is high even for a woman. This is pure speculation and I don't know if estradiol prodced from testosterrone has a linear relationsip like this or not. But, anyways if you cut 400pg/ml in half you still get 200pg/ml which is a heafty dosage of estrogen that would be found in your typical ovulating woman. having This much estrogen in the body that is free to interact with your estrogen recpetors is not agood thing in my opinion. THis is why I don't like arimidex alone with using dosages of test of 1 gram or over.
