Argh! Too many polls!

I refreshed my browser this morning and found no less than 17 old polls bumped overnight. The main thing that gets my goat is that polls seem to get bumped whenever someone votes in them, even if they don't post a message. I don't mind reading new posts, but most of the time there's nothing new to read, so we end up with the current situation - there's no way I'm going to even look at any of the polls because I can't tell if there's been a new post. They're just clogging up the system.

Does anybody else think that polls should only be bumped if someone posts a message in them?

(I just couldn't bring myself to make this another poll, nor could I bring myself to bump G5.0's poll from last week ).

Agreed. I looked but couldn't find Guiness' "I hate polls" poll. I tried to bump it last night.

I suppose people are running searches for "polls" or something. But its annoying. No doubt. Especially when most seem to have been conceived by coldblue1955. "What shoe goes on first? Right or Left?"
