I can't stand being tied down anymore. Once I get with a chick I soon realize that all I want is sex and then it's too late because someones heart gets broken. Women are way to shady and hormonaly unbalanced for me these days. :Chef: :tuc:

I've said it before; I'm single cause I'd rather have the one I'm fucking, fucking other people than have my girlfriend fucking other people. There's only two ways to keep your gf from fucking someone else; kill her or kill everyone else, these are not options for me, so single it is.
 
Single, unwantet, unloved, bitter & alone. Well single anyway. ;)

I have a few friends that where terrified of being alone, and snagged the first girl that looked at them funny. And after being in this relationship for a few months, starts getting cocky because he's having sex with this ugly person, and also ignores the the fact that he starts getting shit every time he tries to spend some time with his mates.
Looking back at this, I thank the maker for being ugly & single. :)

Just the extent to which I'm in love totally overshadows the actual "being married" part of it. That's just a technicality. Nobody else really exists to me. :)

After 7 years I think you're over the whole "rebound" thing. What is he basing his reasoning from? I'm not flaming him, but who is he to say you're not ready to be a husband yet?

He says that I'm not a mature enough Christian yet and that I'd be setting myself up for failure. He says that when it is the proper time, God will send me a wife and that it will be impossible for me to miss her. I just have to wait. Do you know how much faith that requires?

Absolutley brother! I am struggling with the same thing. I mean, I am in no way looking to get married any time soon as the ink isn't hardly dry on my divorce papers, but when I project out a ways, I have a tough time seeing my self being able to hold out for that day. If you know what I mean?

I mean I have been a Christian for quite a while now and I can't believe that I am struggling like a mofo with the whole "no sex outside of marriage" thing!

I have the freedom to do what I want to do, when I want to do it. I will remain single until I meet a woman who can rock my world intellectually, as well as sexually. Because all of the sex in the world can't make up for lack of wit and lack of judgement.

On another note, im' guessing most of the females on this board are either single by choice, or aren't single, enjoy the flirting, so they post themselves as bein single...imo, most of them are too hawt to be single...

Totally agree with this one! But the unfortunate thing is that I think alot of the hotties really are single by choice 'cause they've been used one too many times because they're hot!

Just my opinion, but I would just let God's timing be the judge of when you're ready and don't let anyone else tell you whether or not you're ready.
