Hi,

I'm currently bulking and weight training so I can build some mass. However, I always read that high levels of testosterone will results in the creation of DHT, which will cause hair loss.

Now, I eat very healthy foods, but won't the mere fact that I'm working out cause an increase in testosterone in my body.

Personally, i try to avoid too much red eat since the cholesterol will also promote testosterone building, but I do eat like 3-4 oz everyday (not much for a bulker). Plus, I eat low GI-cholesterol reducing foods. I definitely don't take any juicce!! Basically, what I'm saying is that I do whatever I can from a dietary standpoint to make sure i don't mess myself up, but will my working out cause me to lose hair?

If anyone knows about this , pleae let me know. I'm always hearing about how we want more testosterone in our bodies, but now I'm not so sure I want it if it means giving up my hair!

Some people on other sites have gone with teh motto "build at any price", and they simply get transplants to solve the problem, but I'm 19 and any kind of hair loss would be a bigtime psychological disaster for anyone at that age or anywhere near it.

BTW, I do have all my hair right now, so this is just a concern for the future, not something I'm going through now.

No it won't cause you to lose your hair, only juice is going to raise your dht enough to have that happen and thats generally only if your already prone to hairloss. Basically if its going to happen it can speed it up, if hairloss is not hereditary in your family for the most part even juice won't cause you to lose it.

Well said enock...Bro it sounds to me as if you worry too much, which is also very bad for your system and can cause long term problems also from having raised "fight or flight" chemicals in your system, ( I cannot remeber the names right now)

All replies I agree with here, except I'm not sure that juice will cause hair loss problems "If you are only prone to hairloss". I say this because there have been many cases where women bodybuilders who have been cycling on roids have experienced some hair falling out.

But without roids, I agree with all the replies. You don't have to be too concerned.:fro:

Anxiety causes you to release cortisol...a stress hormone...and an excess of cortisol is catabolic, causes you to lose your hair, and gain belly fat. You worry way to much dude...if you're not juicing you'll be fine

steroids dont make you lose hair, however they can speed up the male pattern baldness so if you dad is bald there is a good chance that you will go bald alot quicker, but hey bald is acceptable these days looks good, dont need a comb, save on the shampoo and hair lacker if your that way inclined.
Its not a big deal if your going to go then your going to go what ever the correct answer is soooooooooo chill out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fro: :bawling:
