Are you afraid of growing older?

Hi Guys,

I'm 27 now, going on 28. I know this is silly, but because 30 isn't that far away, I'm starting to think about myself as past it! In fact, its getting me down a bit and I'm acting like I've only got 2 more years left to live before Alzheimers kicks in!

Do you guys ever thing about that and go "Fuck me, some day I'll be 40, then another day I'll be 50 - my life is ruined" or do you not give a shit?

thats what the juice is for my friend... 22 now.... when im 70 ill still be stickin myself and benchin more than my grandsons.. fuckin a!
 
Fill your time with productive activities and accept that the sun goes up and down without any input from you.

That's how I live. I am 29 now and i can't wait to see how much I can do by 30, 40, 50 etc.

Do I wish I had my 19 year old endurance? sure. But fitness is the only fountain of youth I can think of.

Age ain't nothing but a number. :)

I'm 31, I look and feel like I'm in my early twenties......

With age comes the wisdom to recognize what's important in the grand scheme of things. People, places, things, they all take on a new meaning with each passing year.....I welcome the future with open arms....and hope to God that I can live up to my own expectations. :)

40 is just around the corner for me and I actually look forward to it and all that comes beyond.. I mean, let us consider the alternative.
 
I don't think about age much anymore. I never really wanted to be a kid even when I was little I was always trying to be grown up. Although I do figure there's a good chance I'll do something stupid and off myself before 30 even though that isn't very far off. Also i have friends from their teens to their 60's and I don't really relate to any of them any differently because of age.

Yeah bro, I was scared at your age. But, 27 - 30 were the best yrs of my life. (so far) I was smarter and had more $, and was still young enough to do it.

Now, I'm 33 and I love the knowledge I have. Especially dealing with women. I know whats coming, instead of being niave like in my early 20's.

Also, I'm on HRT. I have my test levels of an 18 yr old. Hopefully, the hgh will keep me young and beautiful forever!!!!!

Mrs. Digger just decided to skip 59 and go straight to 60. :D
 
This used to worry the hell out of me. Now I'm just like fuck it. I'm gonna get old and there's nothing I can do about it but enjoy the ride. The older I get, the less I wanna party too. That's one of the reason I didn't wanna get old. Didn't wanna slow down. After the first 28 years of my life, I need to slow down.

That's what I was thinking.

The only way to keep from getting older is to die, and I'm not sure that there is a future in that. :worried:
 
But you all are ugly anyway so it doesnt really matter.

In my case its truly tragic:(
 
I hear ya Riverrock, I know it does sound silly but I feel the same way. I just turned 29, and I feeling pretty depressed knowing 30's coming up in another year, But look at Radar, if its at all possiable to look half like that at that age, well Sign Me Up!

im not worried about it,Ive have so many great times in life this far I just cant wait to see what else I will do with my goofy buddies over the years,and one day I hope to pass on some wisdom into my kids and watch them grow
 
No I don't worry about it.

I just want to make sure I'm healthy and have enough money to take care of myself..
 
Aging isn't a big thing when you're a male. We're lucky. When we age, we get more -- distinguished. :)

When women age -- they get less attention from the male species. Which is good, cuz it brings them off their pedestal and down to earth. The rite of passage for women, where they go from the girls gone wild stage, to respectable mature, drama-less woman stage.

We are all deeply aware of the impermanency of life.
One day it’ll be yours and some day mine and everyone else that has posted on this thread through to every living organism on this planet.

Instead of seeing this natural fact as a misery, see it as an opportunity to live life to the fullest with endless experience to be discovered and felt & have a shitload of fun while you’re at it.
Remember, for whatever materials, feelings, memories – of joyful moments or painful times- you will not be able to take them with you once you die.

Let each year, each accumulated number on your age represents the LIVING life to the fullest and do not let those accumulated numbers put you down as life is waiting for you to extract its value as much as possible.


Some say that life doesn’t even start until you’re 30…40..etc. I’d say 28 is just as perfect as any age.
 
not scared, since i seem to be improving with age, but i spew a bit now and again when i see some young little thing that id feel guilty getting with

i fogure, since the getting older isnt going to stop, the guilt just has to go ;)

I'm 44 and shitting my pants. Well thats pretty much just a hobby and has nothing to do with how I feel about my age.
 
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't.

I'm turning 40 this year and it has sucked so far and looks like its only going to get worse.
 
What bothers me about growing older is that young hot looking chicks don't notice as you much and I look young for my age. That sux. The health think sux too. Your body recovers slower and things break easier. I am also scared of getting so old I piss and crap in my pants. That is why I freeway wheelie now and I will take up skyidiving in my 70s and pack my own chute.

You ain't old tuc heck matt is not old either. You wait until you hit 41 that is when you notice your body can't keep up with your adolecent brain anymore and I know from experience.
