I'm a fuckin motormouth...and it needs to stop. it's really a new york thing. i sound like i have anxiety half the time (sometimes i do, at least at work).Usually i try to say as much as possible in the shortest amount of time.

my boss and sales manager said i'd do 20x better if i slowed down...said it makes people nervous. they suggested i talk slow like i'm retarded LOL. No one has ever mentioned that to me before

i'm used to people talking fast as fuck though in NY/NJ.

i know that voice control and tone is a huge part of communication...in general.

Everybody says I have a magnetic personality though, IRL, so I must be a good listener once I lure them in with all my talking.

I'm kinda the same way. would have never guessed. most people from michigan i know talk pretty slow with that lil accent they got.

My boss is from Michigan, and she talks slow...slow enough to be in control and sound calm. Alot of my friends from michigan talk slow as well..

I tend to talk fast, skip words and expect people to be on my wave length and read my tongue.

And very often they do, but when they don't I have to change - BOO.

Well, in the "west" it doesn't take an essay, with gibberish footnotes, to say what we are thinking.

I don't talk slow or fast, I can do both, it depends on the situation in dealing with people on a day to day basis, especially when it sales.

If you can tell someone is hurried and short of time well then you have to talk a little faster, if not, it's alot more friendly a personal to hold a regular conversation at a normal pace.

I can talk both slow.. and fast.. and... inbetween... with control and grace!
