Applying to colleges

don't go to drexel unless you don't mind the idea of trimesters... most people i know who are going there hate the trimesters. you need to take classes during at least one summer too. doesn't sound like much fun to me.

man, i took the ACT in HS, crummy gpa, and the letters came in from everywere. if your GPA is 3.4, you should have no problems

did you take a second language and have any extra curriculars

if you did, you should have no probs

Please Splain to me how Electrical Engineering and Medical school tie together ?

Oh, congrats of graduating high school..
It's becoming a real accomplishment these days

PSU - Trust me when i tell you that you would absolutely love it. Great academics, great athletics and a great student life.

Also, it has the larget alumni network in the country, which helps later in life.

its better to go a non premed degree for undergrad so u actually have something when u graduate and if u dont get into med school. all u need is to take 2 o chem classs and u meet the reqs to get into med school......

Are those schools highly renowned for their engineering programs? I'm subscribed to US News Best Colleges '05 and checked the top engineering programs. The only one to make the list was PSU at #54.

Here's the top engineering schools followed by the top electrical engineering programs. If you want more information on specific schools, such as median SAT/GPA, selectivity rank, etc. let me know and I'll post it up.

That is actually a pretty good idea - undergrad bio is basically worthless...
You will have to spend a lot of time doing things medically related though - maybe work/volunteer for a med device comany... Getting into med school is beyond tough...

Curious- What are the medical school rankings? (There are only 100 and some schools)
