Anyone use accutane before?

Overall, I would reccommend taking 20-40mg ED for 1-2 months. You will definatly see drastic improvements. You will know it's working when your lips get super dry and your scalp gets dry and flaky.

> pretty bad, it looked like someone hit me with a shotgun in the back. Chest was pretty bad too. I didnt start the accutane until the last week or so of my cycle because thats when the acne got real bad.

I would highly recommend it but buy the mega pack of lip balm, you're gonna need it.

Worked like they said it would. Took about 4 weeks to notice, 7 weeks big difference, all gone. Lips and skin got very dry. I did notice a slight change in mood as well, but nothing too major.

Pretty bad on chest and shoulders/back. They were VERY deep and would not go away.

Total of about 10 weeks. Dr advised longer, but I wanted to get off.
How much did you take per day?
80mgs/day. He said this was due to my size.
Did you split up the doses?
Yes, 40mg morning, 40mg night.
Were you on AAS?
Yes, test e, 500mg. The weird thing is, I got the acne after I came off a cycle. It stayed all throughout pct and never went away. I thought that maybe when I got back on, it would go away. It didn't.
If so what and how much?
Do you still get acne?
I had not gotten any acne. However, I recently tried drol for the first time and it came back at 50% of what it was. I'm going to run 40mgs of accutane for 8 weeks to try and clear it up.

6 months, could hardly stand it after 5 though. It got brutal.

no, i like my liver(sort of).
Do you still get acne?
No.
Permanent side effects is extremely dry lips/lightly dry face in winter which I never experienced before accutane. It will be like that for the rest of my life(but well worth it).

was bad on my back and shoulders only.. i took 40mg/day but when i started drying out real bad i dropped to 30mg/day. i would get real dry around my nose and have nose bleeds, and my lips would chap so bad that they would crack open and bleed.. i took it for about 5 months, and i swear it changed my life. i have not had bad acne since, a few here and there only on cycles now.slat1 said:
