anyone own a x5 bmw? thoughts? good ?bad?

I looked at both the X5 and Land Rover, I went with the Land Rover because it can actually move in dirt and snow. Great car for the roads, but shitty if you enjoy doing 4wheeling. Despite what people have said about LR, I have had no problems with mine and it has 61,000 miles and I drive it like it's a sports car. My horn button popped out last week, but I use it atleast 4 times aday.

what kind of gas mileage you get on the land rover? the one i was lookin at was a range rover hse

I get about 12-15 in Sport mode, but I have a heavy foot. I have the 04 Discovery SE 4.6L not the Range Rover. Tires are always a problem with LR's since they are so heavy, mine actually handles really well minus the tracking on the freeway ruts (short wheel base). The HSE is a nice rig bro, I would take that over a X5 anyday.
