anyone own a x5 bmw? thoughts? good ?bad?

which year and version was it? lot of warrenty work?

Read the reviews on the new ones. For the price you pay, you can get a better quality car with other companies.

This is coming from someone whose wife is German and whose wife will only buy German cars. I have a VW now and like it.

x5 suv,there new models...not the 5 series sedan...5 series sedans are junk...i drive 3 series now but getting a new one tomorrow...either gonna get a range rover or x5...not sure yet...bmw i think are gonna be better reliability

My GF's X5 comes-in around the end of this month. We test drove one and just loved it. Ordered one probably two days later.

I'm in the car business and typically I tell people to purchase X-5's only if they are new or leased, but never used.

I looked at both the X5 and Land Rover, I went with the Land Rover because it can actually move in dirt and snow. Great car for the roads, but shitty if you enjoy doing 4wheeling. Despite what people have said about LR, I have had no problems with mine and it has 61,000 miles and I drive it like it's a sports car. My horn button popped out last week, but I use it atleast 4 times aday.
