Anyone own a Laser Turntable for LP's?

I know they are better for the record because it will not wear down the vinyl but I am concerned that it will not have the same authentic sound that an LP has.

Anyone here own one or know if there is a sound difference?

I am picky when it comes to the music I want to hear on an LP and I don't want to get a laser one if there is a difference.
