I know it's a tad early since the night show hasn't even started yet, but I was wondering if anyone out there went to the prejudging show and has a pretty good indication of what the placings will be.

I want to know too! My boy World was lookin freakish a few weeks out. I'm hoping he wins it all.

saf, did you come off gear, or cranking up for another show?

Spoke too soon

I saw this on the getbig message board:

looks like it's Idris Ward-el show to win. Friend just called from Veagas. Lopez looks like 3rd or 4th, and Troy Alves Glutes and Hams are still not in, and doesn't look like he will win his class either. Think Eddie Linda took the Light Heavys. Not sure who may win the heavys, but for sure not Troy. These are not from the judges score cards, just a friend who knows what he is talking about, but you never know what the judges think sometimes.

Cranking up for another in November! I'm about 191 right now, and this is the heaviest I've ever been. I was 163 for the Atlantic States, and I'm hoping I can come in at least 5-10lbs heavier for the Eastern USA's (NQ).

HAHAHA, I actually look pretty decent right now in light of the fact that I eat everything in site. In addition to my good food diet, I eat junk food, cereal, pop tarts (love em), pizza, pretty much anything my body asks for. Of course I'm holding some water, and probably the most now since I'm not using any anti-e, but I'm happy with the way I look. Cant wait until the next show :D

eddie linda huh...
i don't know.. my money is on my boy robbie lopez!!! he has paid his dues and it is his turn to shine!!!

any word on light weights???

I want to know about the men's HW!!

IQ, I think Heather Policky is going to win. Someone said It's Colette's time but Heather is jacked... if that's what the judges for this show are going for she has it hands down.

Okay, just made a call to my training partner who is judging there and this is what he thinks.
Idris will take his class and the over all. Chris Dim ( Sacramento ) is in a two way tie for first at light heavy, light weight ( forgot his name, he is from Modesto Ca ) is looking like a winner.
260 competitors total in show. Batams, lightweights, middles, and light heavys look outstanding..............heavy`s and supers are weak for the most part due to a lack of quality and conditioning.
As for the women, didn`t get any names but the quality is good I was told. Fitness is for the most part weak, looks like winner will be the girl who has won the last two Fitness America`s and then took a year off to become eligible for the USA`s............sorry, do not remember name.

mvmaxx, all I can say i DAMN! I would love to get that kind of mass on my back.... maybe in 10 years... :-)

Well, if this is any inspiration to you I can tell you he competed with another friend of mine in 1992 at 195lbs. He now carries around 280-300lbs in the offseason.

I'm just shocked he didn't place in the top 5. I'm wondering if he even competed cause he looks bigger than Idrise to me.

Here's a comparison pic, although the one's I posted of World weren't contest pics like Idrise's is. Notice there's like no space in between World's lats and forearms when he does a lat spread. :eek2:
