a thalidimide baby (sp?) usually has webbed feet and or hands. that is where the lobster boy came from.
thalidimide is a drug that they gave to pregnant women in the 50's to prevent the nauseous feeling, but it causes bith defects.
it is making a comeback now with cancer patients.

judging from my grandfater I'm gonna be deaf any day now. I've tried too invest in any hearing aide companies or companies that do shit for them. judging from the exponetial increase in noise pollution these days, I'd say there are a bunch of us that are going to be deaf.

I've always thought that if I were deaf, no big deal, I'll just do more comptuer stuff - and if I'm blind, no big deal, I'll just play guitar and change my name to Blind Watermelon Jefferson (which is weird b/c right now my real name is Blind Watermellon Jones)

My best friend's exgirlfriend was deaf in the opposite ear. Whenever we all hung out he would position us so she and I could hear each other. Funny stuff. My wife talks constantly so when I get tired of it, I'll put my good ear down, and leave my deaf ear up and just smile at her and nod every once in awhile.
