T The Shadow Guest May 17, 2002 #2 Pretty easy. Wear life preserver of course. If you get dumped completely out - feet in front of you as it will help reduce rock injuries. Easiet way to turn is to drag your "oar" in the back on the side you want to turn to rather than to try to paddle more on one side

Yeah they have already taught me how to roll it back over. I've decided to stay right side up. Trust me the life preserver is a no brainer. I sink better than I swim.
