Hey,
What's up everybody?!
I've been away for a loooong time. I got relocated to Austin, TX and have not had internet access or time to do much for awhile. But before I left KC, i did get a chance to see something that blew me away. It was something called a dumbell smart rack. I was reading a recent article in Muscular Development (I can't remember the issue and it got lost in the move). A well known bodybuilder commented that he doesn't do heavy dumbell presses anymore because of the stress on the shoulder joints.
Anyway when I was in KC I met a guy that makes and sells equipment and I got to try it out. I think the chiefs MAY be using it. and I know there are a couple of college teams that use it.
I finally remembered the name of it and found it by doing a search on the internet. here is the link if you are interested.

It is pretty sweet. When I get the funds to start rolling in from my new possition at work I will be getting one for the house. (i wish I could get my gym to carry it - I am Manager of the new 24Hour Fitness here in town)
There is a discount code PC888 - but I can't remember how much the discount is... I need to email them and find out.
Anyway. I thought you might like to know about it. It totally removes the need to heave the weights up and do the roll back thing or whatever.
PEACE
