Anyone good at looking at lab results?

I went in for major shoulder surgery and they requested that I have blood work done.
I asked that they run test levels etc.
Here are the results. Any input would be appreciated.
BTW. I have not worked out since the beginning of the year. Only eating 3 times a day. Not healthy. Drinking a lot too. 35 y/o. 6'3" 250ish.

ALSO TRY GOOGLE by type in the name..it tell you waht they mean

Dr called. He is worried about my kidney function.
I will update the thread after my apt a week from today.

Slat, I had the same issue with my urea and creatinine and estimated glomerular filtration rate, I was in chronic kidney disease one week, then had bloods done the next week (off creatine), and it was normal.

Urea is the breakdown of protein, so if you are having a high protein diet, or slightly dehydrated, the level is higher.

Creatinine is the breakdown of creatine, and most of the modern assays are sensitive to the supplement.

Also, the more muscle you have, the higher the creatinine.

When my consultant used a different formula for EGFR (as there are more than one), and plugged me in as male (as I am closer to the 'average' 70 kg man than the women's standard), my eGFR was fine.

The other formula you may want to try is online, Cockcroft-Gault, I know they don't use this one in the UK.

Kidney panels high only on Creatinine, but you're not working out, so presumably NOT taking creatine.

Probably worth another look. Take some cranberry extract and lots of water before next blood draw.

Is your Dr. OK with your Liver results, other then cholesterol? (Trigs)

Sounds like some one needs to hit the ol' G Y M.

I missed the bits about drinking and not training.

This is an early detection test to ward off any further damage to the kidneys.

Any other meds?

He is just concerned. I am still around 250lbs. So I would guess I have more muscle than the average person which can cause higher creatine levels.
I also have muscle damage in my shoulder. Three days after the labs were taken I had my Labrum repaired, ligaments reattached and my bicep tendon cleaned up.
That can lead to higher numbers too.
Not sure what test he is planning on running but it will be interesting...
BTW. Looks like March at the earliest I can go to the gym and lift :(

If you dont mind me asking. How did you get injured so bad bro?

I had blood work similar to this:

Testosterone, Free, Bioavail/Tot 95
Testosterone, Tot, LC/MS/MS 351 250-1100 ng/dl
Testosterone, Free 60.9 46.0-224.0 pg/ml
Testosterone, Bioavailable 119.9 110.0-575.0 ng/dl
SEx Hormone Dinding Glob 23 8-48 nmol/L
Albumin 4.3 3.6-5.1 g/dl

You should consider HRT if you have the symptoms.

I was suplexing a 245lb guy (former NHL player) when we hit the plate glass window on the 15th floor of the Mandalay Bay. I came down on my shoulder and completely dislocated it.
That was on a Friday. I went to the DR on Monday after traveling home.
..and yes I know I am an idiot.
