Anyone ever try the PALUMBO DIET???

Hey guys,

I have been following such a diet...with GREAT results. My body responds very well to a high fat/high protein diet. I have been dropping fat and have NO problem retaining muscle and even gaining strength!

Also, I am alternating with 5 Pro/fat days and 2 Pro/Veggie days..which certainly shocked the system and speed the fat loss up. But only when it slowed down, sis I implement this.

Ketosis and carbs depends on your body. You should buy the keto stix from your pharmacy. I can get away with eating 35g/carbs a day. I am 5'10 female at 145pds. So some guys might be able to eat more. But it depends on your body. It is always best to stay as low as you can, but I know when I am dieting and starving I need some veggies to help me get through the day :)
 
I am going to try this diet or the Anabolic Diet, they both sound perfect for me. 1 question, when he calls for 50g Whey Protein with 1 tablespoon of All Natural Peanut butter (no sugar)does he mean a whey isolate with 50g of protein? or weigh out 50g of whey isolate?

I think he means whey iso consisting of 50g of protein so basically two 70cc scoops of whey iso. I really liked the AD.

Do you still have a copy? I cant find it anywhere. A friend of mine has it and was going to send it to me but hasnt. :mad: I have heard a ton of great things about the AD so i think I will go with it.
 
he says to use a whole food supplement that has both in it like juice-plus. Veggies are mostly okay, fruits of course not.
I got shredded on this diet.

I am cutting now and have about 70day left until my contest. Would it be a bad idea to switch over to the AD now? Here is what I plan to eat:

Monday
Meal 1
6 fried jumbo eggs in 4 tbsp butter
6 slices bacon


Meal 2
2 scoops Quattro
1oz EWI
1 slice American cheese

Meal 3
10oz ground beef
2 slices American cheese
1 tbsp ketchup and mustard


Meal 4
2 scoops Quattro
1oz EWI
1 slice American cheese


Meal 5
10oz ground beef
2 slices American cheese
1 tbsp ketchup and mustard

Meal 6
2 scoops Quattro
1 oz EWI
1 slice American cheese


Total Calories: 4,360
Fat: 57%
Pro: 41%
Crb: 2%

Could I cut like this? I am on about 300 cals now but my diet is mentally driving me to cheat more and more. Cant hang with it this time around.
 
I have a question regarding this diet... How would u cook your eggs and meats? Olive oil changes property when used as a cooking oil or does that not matter? do we use the meats/ eggs own fat to help in the cooking and just slightly grease the pan with oil/butter?
 
i have a couple of questions if anyone can help... first of all i am asuming adding a condament like tomato sauce to meat would inhibit ketosis? secondly would the drinking of diet soda like coke zero effect ketosis? and finally adding cheese to the eggs or mayonaise from what i have read should not inhibit ketosis taking place as they are negligable carbs but high fat? hopefuly someone can help me out
