Many people report a significant drop in tested cholesterol levels with
a simple addition of:
- bowl of oatmeal
- cinimmon
- walnuts
- Q10

Don't forget cranberry juice. 16 ounces daily (I do recommend the light variety!) can increase HDL levels by up to 20%.

I have read several reports on the benefits of oatmeal reducing cholesterol levels. I eat a bowl of oatmeal at least every other day.

Cinnamon doesn't do much for cholesterol, but does help significantly to stabilize blood sugar levels. It's been shown to benefit type 2 diabetics.

Walnuts haven't been shown to impact cholesterol as much as almonds, but any kind of nut (no, not the insane variety!) can help with cholesterol.

Yes, there are plenty of foods out there that help with cholesterol. Unfortunately many of my colleagues would rather simply prescribe a cholesterol pill than teach someone about dietary changes. Quite frankly, they are more likely to get success from a pill than dietary changes since the average American isn't giving up his/her fast food for health foods.

There are some people, however, that will follow dietary changes very strictly, but who will still require medication because of genetic conditions for which dietary changes cannot help.

I've been feeling a little down lately. Fevers & headaches, once or twice a day. Are these sides of CoQ10?
CoQ doesn't have any serious sides as far as I can tell, and according to every study I've ever read the only things have been usually GI related, or light sensitivity ...

Depressed mood, fever, headaches sounds like you might be trying to come down with a touch of a bug, there's some miserable ass flus moving around the country.

Yeah, totally essential. That's why, up until now, no one has lived past 40.

It seems it's been one thing after another since friggin November. Plus I have sinus & sleep issues. Wasn't sure if those symptoms were an extension of my health woes, or sides.
Thanks for answering.
