Does anyone else use 25G pins for Test injections. I find them to be the least painful even though it takes longer to inject the Test. I'm just wondering.....
Absoluty bro, don't get it hot mind you. You don't want it to burn, just warm it up some to thin it out. Avoid letting tap water get near the needle and keep it capped. Let the water flow off the side and towards the other end. Completely safe. You can also do the same thing with your vials before drawing, you just want to avoid running water over the rubber stoppers on the chance that a very small amount makes it through a pinhole.
25g has been great for me. I don't inject quads or glutes so when it comes to upper body IM's 25 is virtually painless. But it does suck if you inject over 1ml of oil.
I don't like quads personally. Lots of nerves you can hit. I rotate delts and glutes mostly, although quads do allow you a lot of control if you are not a real steady pinner yet.
I never thought about or tried using a 25 gauge needle for injections.
21 was for starters and switched over to 22 gauge.
They both feel like getting pierced with a sewing needle, but what the hell! lol
Try the 25G you'll never use anything else. Why use a harpoon if you don't have too. Only thing is it does take longer to inject but that's better than making swiss cheese outta your glutes...Lol
I've always used 25g to inject with. Its the perfect size for minimal PIP and nice slow controlled injections. Also less chance for abcesses and scar tissue
Hey guys! I've been using the right hamstring right side muscles for injections the last years and only never had gotten 1 PIP in 10,000 years? lol Are you guys fucked or what? No scar tissue as guys say which is funny and on pain. Beat that shit at 2 gm. a month of TEST Blend and Orals a month 9 fucking years going straight, I'm not going to stop until my liver turns black like my friend, whom didn't take very care of himself.
25g is perfect. Occasionally I will go 23g if the pharmacy is out of the 25g and I don't feel like tracking them down. Goes in smooth and the oil comes out fine.
I started out with 25G 5/8 inch for my first year and then switched to a 28G 1/2 inch. Even through the 25G was very comfortable, I like the smaller 28G better. Hardly feel it at all.
I should mention that I only inject 0.2 mL E3D, so the volume is very low. It takes a minute or so to draw up but worth the effort. I alternate Quads. Been doing this now for over 3 years.
25g is all I'll ever use. Perfect for quads. I don't believe that bullshit that you need 22 or 23g and an inch or inch and a half to get into the muscle. We've used slin pins for delts and calves with the same excellent results.
My experience with short pins and site injections: years of subcutaneous lumps and most likely cysts. My advice to any young guy, use a minimum of 1 inch pins and use mainly glute injection areas. Delts are good until you start developing scar tissue, which seemed to happen quickly for me. Avoid bicep lat, calf injects. My pecs still have bb sized lumps in old inject spots, traps injects never bothered me. You're nuts if you inject in lats.
