I was always taught there is a cure for almost any thing you pick up from drinking bad water but you can never be cured from dying of dehydration. There is a point where you just drink.

His problem was he had an alternative - coconut water, and also, they had a melo can there at camp so they could have boiled that stuff.

He thought because it was ground water he'd be safer and he was fed up with the coconut water, tired of the fact there were just a few sips per coconut. The girl was going "I ain't touching it".

Again, I am astonished at the simple fact humans have survived this long.
