Randy Couture kick Sylvia's ass? I love it. The guy is in his 40's and still dominating the younger ones who have big mouths. The guy is awesome - so respectful and has never said a bad word about anyone. Great attitude. :)

LOL. He could probably kick MANY peoples' asses. The guy is amazing. Totally in control of himself, calm, knows what he is doing..

The best fight was when he fought Tito Ortiz and Ortiz talked all this shit (like he usually does) and then Couture whooped him. I loved the part where he was dominating Ortiz and had him bent over and he started patting his ass. LOL. So funny.. Then of course, Ortiz cried like a baby after he got his ass kicked..

"I let my fans down, I let myself down, and I am just not happy with myself.." *PAUSE TO CRY*
"I got hurt in the first round .. BUT NO, I mean, Randy beat me and it was totally fair."

Hehe I know it was weeks ago but I just watched it again last night. I love watching great fighters. My favorites are Couture and GSP.

Once Couture landed that first shot, you almost just knew the fight was his.

GSP is a freak, but dont be to suprised if hughes fights him totally different the 3rd time around. Hughes is not going to be a moron and standup with GSP for a second time.

I can't wait to see GSp and Hughes fight again. I honestly think GSP is the better fighter and will win again. Don't get me wrong, Hughes is totally gifted and talented however, I think GSP is overall, a more talented athlete (figher).

Watch cropcop vs fedor (yes i know fedor is a fuckin beast) and you will see crocop is very human.

yeah I've seen that fight. not taking anything away from Randy but Cro Cop is in a whole nother league IMO. I can see him taking the belt from Randy and keeping it for a LONG time.

no doubt about it, crop cop is in another leauge as a stiker but I would not say he is in another leauge as an overall MMA fighter. Randy looked like shit against chuck the last 2 times but before that he always had a nack for doing what it took to win. And he definetly showed that against Silvia.
 
Randy had the longest line of all the celebrities at the Arnold.

Also, that new brazillian fighter (I forget his name) showed up unannounced at the UFC booth. I don't think he can speak much english, but he is very like able. He would jump over the table to let kids and a guy in a wheel chair take pics. Everyone loved him.

thats if he is in montreal. he trains in new mexico and new york city also. and im sure a ton of other places to.

Yeah the guy is great. I remember him being so respectful on the ultimate fighter show while so many of the other fighters were so cocky.

you also saw that fedor is human too.........Fedors face at the end of the match was "beat"......crocops had not a mark. Fedor had to rely on taking Crocop down to win the fight. Crocop is a proffessional striker.......Fedor has more of a Chuck Liddell style....generates power by turning his arms into floppy noodles to whip around. It's effective mind you.....but Fedor has been exposed in his standup by proffessional strikers like crocop and hunt. But Fedor is the best in the world because he's good at everything. Randy will have a very tough time against Crocop......Randy absolutely cannot take a hit from crocop whatsoever. The difference in power from Lidell to Crocop is very substantial. I know Randy is heavier now, and I think he's a better fighter at the weight he's at now........but he can't stand and bang with crocop.

That is moi business. :) My parents are huge on money management/money saving yada yada... same with my grandparents.. it's a family thing.

They are all into the stock market, trading, blah blah - you know, boring things (to me at least).

You assumed it was a bad thing. It isn't I had MOST of my life paid for, I think it was good to some extent.

It's been okay. I've been craming on and off for my last final which is tomorrow morning (my hardest one). After that I am done - graduate. But it's so annoying because I'm so lazy since it's my last final, you know? Blahh.. hehe. Can't wait to be done. How was your day?

It wasn't like Matt didn't try and take down GSP, he did try and he failed. It will be the same thing again.

I love Randy. I love Cro Cop. I think Randy is going to lose.

Cro Cop is not Sylvia. The Randy/Sylvia fight showed us a few things. One is that Randy should never be taken lightly, that he still has the ability to compete, and has a tremendous heart. The other, which is something that most everyone knows, is that the UFC's heavyweight division is pathetically WEAK. That a 43 year old man, one who in his last 10 fights was 5-5, could come in and so easily dominate it's champion, shows how sad a state the HW division is in.

I love Randy. I would never say he doesn't have a chance to win because everyone knows how smart and well prepared Randy is. All I'm saying is that Randy is going up against one of the top 2-3 HW MMA fighters in the world. Cro isn't going to stand back and jab the entire time.

Cro will definitely have to look out for those trip take downs that randy loves so much. If Randy can be as consistent with his TD's like he was against Sylvia he can eek out a decision. I don't seeh im finishing a job that Fedor couldn't.

I agree. I don't think that he can knock him out (he doesn't really knock out) but perhaps he can be consistent like you said. How awesome would it be, though - if he won? I am praying.. :)
