I had a consult with a guy a month ago. After getting my labwork back (which was saliva, btw), he told me that my Test-levels were fine and that I didn't really need TRT.
For some background, I am 45 years-old and have experienced a great deal of muscle mass and strength loss over the last 5-10 years,. I've also put on some fat around the midsection and have felt a decrease in libido and energy. All classic symptoms of andropause. I don't cvare what the lab rersults say are normal, I know that I can't possibly be close to the same tesosterone levels as I was.
I have a consult with a different doctor in a week and a half. He will, undoubtedly, send me for blood work. Is there anything you know of that would effect test-levels for the labwork? Any diet, sexual, or weightlifting things that would make it test low? I have no idea how open-minded this new doctor will be. Hopefully, he's not a slave to the lab reports and he listens to my symptoms, but to get the odds in my favor, do you know of any 'tricks' to help reduce test before my bloodwork?
Thanks
