Any ladies here ever get married outside?

I didnt but a suggestion is. Incase of storm, ect... Have a back up place. Just in case. Out door weddings are beautiful ;)

on a side note, take lots of pics:)
I would also make sure u have backup plans on ur bridesmaids and stuff if u have them, when i got married, my flower girl was really late....and we had a back up....but then we hurt her feelings when the original flower girl showed up....shold have just made both of them :)
I didnt really plan my wedding tho. my mother did most everything, if i ever do get remarried and if i dont go to the courthouse, i want to plan it, heck i was 19 and i thought she should anyway lol

Releasing a pair of white doves after the ceremony would be nice. Just a thought. Soklu what happened to your avatar it almost hurts my eyes! lol
Just read Vel's post and realized that I forgot to wish you well!

ME! :)

I got married outside in Vegas at the end of October. If you want to see pics, let me know. Actually, let me go see if I still have pics on Shutterfly ..... :)

I got married outside on 9/22/2001. The ceremony + reception were at the same place, so in case of rain we could hold it inside. The DJ was late, so the CD I made of all my wedding music didn't get played. I was upset. It sprinkled rain for about 2 seconds right as I got ready to walk down the aisle. It was very pretty.

www.theknot.com (I think that's the site) has really GREAT checklists of "what to dos" to prepare for weddings. I used that & it was a tremendous help!!

My pics are still on Shutterfly - if you want to see them - or if anyone else wants to see them, PM me your email and I'll send you the link.

Also, I had NO bridal party. WAY too much of a headache for me. I hate worrying about other people, if they will flake, if they will be bitchy, bossy or otherwise annoying. It was just me and my hubby and about 25 people. And it was PERFECT that way.

hey, I didn't realize you and Lummy got engaged! Congrats hun!

Outdoor weddings are beautiful, but I think I would be worried about the possibility of bad weather. I second Daisyduke's idea about having a backup... although I guess if you're renting a huge tent that could be enough protection against the elements in the event of rain.

Congrats again sweetie
