I wasn't sure if this should go in another forum, so be my guest if any of you feel it'll get more views elsewhere as I feel this could potentially be very important...especially for those of us who look to build strength...

we have no antibacterial soap around our house...you need some germs around to keep your immune system on its toes...plus, at any given time, most of the germs on your hands, etc. are good ones that are supposed to be there.

weird...I buy a toothpaste because it has triclosan in it specifically too

I stopped having a new cavity at every cleaning between that and a sonic toothbrush

ya I dont do antibacterial soap...my whole house gets a 1/5 bleach solution sprayed on everything tho...
thats probably paranoia from when I used to clean the ambulance though

i had a soft spot in a wisdom tooth filled many moons ago...other than that, haven't had a drill in my mouth in my life

i spray str8-up bleach on my garbage cans when i put them out, to keep the bears, raccoons and other vermin out of them...come to think of it, tonight is garbage night...thanks for the reminder

This may be a link, but do you feel that the degradation that the soap will have on the muscle will be significant or just a few percentage points?

Not sure what to think at the moment, but the study recorded a 25% reduction in heart muscle function on mice after just one exposure.

Well, that is a concern, but I would have thought that it would have been more noticed by now if the amount was as high as 25%. That said, I'm not rushing out to buy more anti-bact soap.
