Another Thing That Bugs Me About UG Stuff

The cheap ass rubber stoppers. They ALL use these thin flimsy tops. On a real bottle of test you can actually re-fill the bottle several times. On those UG vials the rubber is practically disintegrated before you've even used up all the oil. How much can a teeny piece of rubber cost?

I have test from a UGL with a thick pink rubber stopper and love it... My other vials are flimsy and I'm afraid if I pull the needle one way or the other too hard, I'll rip the stopper open and spill oil out

Seems trivial - order ampules yourself and just transfer it if you don't like the stopper.

You are right, it is cheap. They are not illegal to order and using very simple tranfer techiniques it would be easy for a lay man (or woman ;) ) to transfer it into a more reliable container.

What I don't like about UGLs is the stupid 10ml at a time. At one point I knew place you could get 60ml at a time, but you had to tranfer it yourself to ampules (this was for shipping reason).

That way, you just order a 100ml ampule from a reputable site and you just x-fer your whole 60-100ml in there and you can use a bottle for 2-4 cycles (depending on how often you pin).

Make sense?

I wonder where they went?

do you think its possible to get small fragments on rubber into the oil and sucked up when you draw? and if so how dangerous is it to inject rubber particles?

I can switch it around and say pharma grade sux because those damn glass amps can disintegrate when you pop them and small pieces of glass can get into your oil. again highly unlikely the needle draws them but who knows

My stoppers must be the good ones, I've drawn dozens of times from 50ml jugs with 21g or larger needles and never had a problem. Just do it yourself, very few people make it like they used to.

There are no ampules made by USA pharma companies. It's all vials. And they're very solid. Good point about the rubber particles, though to fit through a needle it would have to be almost microscopic. But still...

It's not an issue with the rubber stopper (though it might seem like it), the issue is with the poor BA/BB mix used by UGs due to the basic misunderstanding of chemistry. There were guys saying 5-7% is what they give to clients, that's very dangerous and irresponsible - and would burn through most rubber stoppers!

This can happen. Remedy with something called a filter needle.

This is a needle with a small filter built into the hub. Draw up your oil, it will filter out the glass from amp, or bit(s) of rubber from vial stopper. Then switch to a different needle to inject (should go without saying, but you never know). LOL
