Fucking sick

I dont think theres any question that were it any of our children that this fuck would be dead had he not have been the ultimate piece of shit pussy coward and off'd himself.
I know I would gladly spend 20+ years behind bars for emptying my .45 into this shit bags face. At least I would have some credibility in the joint for my stay.

Its even more infuriating that there can be no justice. A parent offing him, cops shooting him, execution, anything.

this is making me physically ill, typically this shit doesn't effect me since it's always so far away.
but fuking elementary kids? even the ones that survived are gonna be scarred from this.

Who cares either way the families have to deal with their kids being killed over a pointless fucking weapon...what a joke.

A young man clad in black and carrying two handguns shot up an elementary school in a small Connecticut town on Friday, leaving 18 small children and eight adults dead in one the nation’s worst school massacres, law enforcement officials said.

The gunman, described as a 20-year-old man from Connecticut, was later found dead, a federal law enforcement official told NBC News. A second person was in custody for a possible connection to the shooting, NBC’s Pete William reported.
Students – mostly under age 10 -- described the terror that gripped Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown when the rampage began around 9:30 a.m., sparking a massive police response that included SWAT officers going room to room to search for victims.
The Hartford Courant, citing unnamed sources, said many of the victims were in a kindergarten classroom.
"I was in the gym and I heard a loud, like seven loud booms, and the gym teachers told us to go in the corner, so we all huddled," one student told NBC Connecticut. "And I kept hearing these booming noises. And we all … started crying.
"All the gym teachers told us to go into the office where no one could find us," she added. "So then a police officer came in and told us to run outside. So we did and we came in the firehouse and waited for our parents."
Dozens of emergency vehicles from across Fairfield County raced to the 600-student school, along with panicked parents hoping to be reunited with their children.
“It was horrendous,'' Brenda Lebinski, mother of a third-grader, said at the scene.``Everyone was in hysterics - parents, students. There were kids coming out of the school bloodied. I don't know if they were shot, but they were bloodied,'' she said, according to Reuters.

One parent picking up his young son said the shooting was “the most terrifying moment a parent can imagine.” He described the anguish of waiting to find out if his son was a victim and then running to his child.
“It was the greatest relief in my existence,” the father said. “I’m just happy that my kid’s OK.”
Bracing for a large influx of wounded, Danbury Hospital went on lockdown and cleared four trauma rooms. It received only three patients, including a teacher shot in the foot, the Associated Press reported.
The motive for the shooting was unknown, and the gunman’s name was not released.
Two 9mm handguns were recovered from the scene, an official told WNBC's Jonathan Dienst. The Associated Press said one of the guns was a.223-caliber rifle.
The FBI was on the scene, assisting with the investigation.
President Obama was told of the shooting at 10:30 a.m.
"I think it's important on a day like today to view this as I know the president, as a father does, and I as a father and others who are parents certainly do, which is to feel enormous sympathy for families that are affected,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said.

The death toll is the highest from a school shooting in U.S. history since a gunman killed 32 people at Virginia Tech in 2007. At Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, two teens killed 13 people and wounded 24 in 1999.
Parent Stephen Delgiadice, whose 8-year-old daughter was not hurt, said he never could have imagined such carnage in the small bedroom community – where the police force has only three detectives.
"It's alarming, especially in Newtown, Connecticut, which we always thought was the safest place in America," he told The Associated Press.

libs already tripping over corpses to make political hay about gun control

Let the media say what they want. We all know gun control isn't the solution, and video games and movies are not why people are killing people. Its the people that are fucked up. Millions of us have guns, play violent video games, and watch violent media but do just fine. Reality is that unfortunately there will always be some spineless sick coward that will try to come along and make a name for himself nomatter what we do.....period.

libs already tripping over corpses to make political hay about gun control

Yup! I'm pissed about that and that some guy with other ppl would go into a school and harm children. But like Rahm Emanuel once said, "you never want to let a good crises go to waste, and what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you can not do before"

Me too bro. usually I shrug it off. But this one I cant.

Hey Woot....if peices of shit like this want to shoot people they will get a gun. It doesnt matter. If I didnt have a pistol permit or a CCW and I wanted a handgun I could just make a few calls and get pointed in the right direction. Anyone can get an illegal handgun or assault rifle if they do a little leg work.

I have read of numerous situations where people with CCW have been able to help other people. ie: woman leaving grocery store late approached by 4 hispanics looking for a good time. Guy whips out CCW and they run. If there was overbearing gun control shit like this that happens all the time that we never hear about would stop happening.
Gun control just means the law abiding citizens lose their guns. The bad guys will still have guns regardless.

So you don't think gun control couldn't have possibly stopped this from happening?

Has banning drugs led to less or more drugs available?

I dont understand why a failed war on drugs would not also be an applicable model for guns as well

Banning doesnt work bottom line

me too, I'm feel physically sick.

I don't know if I can watch any more on the news. I don't want to feel what they're feeling.

A kindergarden class is unaccounted for

Either way bro, 27 people are killed with a weapon that is very dangerous...at a fucking elementary school..gun laws or not it's a fucking huge concern to our world

That's what it amounts to, more abiding citizen CCW , less crime, period.

No woot.. I live in Chicago, we had a gun ban for decades, one of the strictest in the country and we still had the worst crime rates. Top three. How can that be if we had a complete gun ban?? I myself have a gun, I have a FOID card which is like a license to have a gun. I don't do stupid shit with it. I go to the gun range on occasions. I have it for protection in case of a break in. They just lifted the ban on guns in chicago a year and a half ago or so. We still have high crime but it's not because of ppl like myself. It's criminals. They will always find a way to get guns. Most of the violence in the city is in the south side where it's predominantly black and very poor. Only gangs and criminals have guns in that area. Ppl all over the city are upset but ppl need to realize that government can not keep you safe. Only u can. Ppl in the south side refuse to get a FOID card an get a gun to protect their property and family. They feel like more police will make a difference. We know the government can't protect when they have had operations like fast and furious go on..

Kindergarten kids. So sick. As a daddy of a child that age this really had me on edge and physically ill

Unfortunately if the media keeps turning these scumbags into celebrities this will not stop. Tomorrow morning the faces of the killers will be plastered on every news outlet. Talking about who they are and why they did it. It gives the killer the platform try need make themselves know. F'in media gives them exactly what they want.

Focus the media attention on the victims, and never mention one detail about the shooter other than he was a cowardly mindless dirtbag

I'm fucking sick...

I can't fathom being such a piece of shit coward that you'd hurt an innocent child, much less several.

I know I have thick skin and usually shit never gets to me, but fuck this one struck a chord. I don't even know what to say...

Haven't been this fucking enraged in a very long time...

and people like this are the reason I carry...

Right plank!! Plank carries so does that mean he will shoot someone? Ppl will kill ppl even if we had a complete gun ban in this country. Ppl can die from knives, bats to the head, etc.Plank, thank you for exercising your right. Who knows plank could potentially save his or someone else's life tonight cause he had his gun with him.

Why the fuck are they interviewing these kids and putting them on tv right now? The media is just as sick as anyone else

libs already tripping over corpses to make political hay about gun control

yeah in a minute it ain't gonna be just libs mate, i'm sure there's more than just a couple republicans in connecticut this morning wondering why their little 5-10 years olds are dead. THis issue is shortly going to morph into an a-political one. You're gonna see libs and reps finally work together on something, unfortunately it might be something that won't be good.

it's like the movie natural born killers, consumers eat this sort of media up.
no television for this guy, haven't had one in years to avoid stuff like this.

Every time there's a mass shooting like this, the media sensationalizes it, and it seems to spread. How many copycat's were there after the CO movie theater shooting? I remember reading about 3 or 4 thwarted attempts.

You don't have to shoot a bunch of kids to be a psychopath

Like I said, I fully believe that this behavior is becoming the norm

remember the New York Post pic last week? Not only did that photographer not help that man, he caught his last moments on film, sold it and those people put that up on the front page

are you faking being a brit wtf?
connecticut is entirely blue (federally).
no need to find token reps, there isn't any

yep, his story that i was trying to "flash" the driver was complete horseshit. I bought it for a second until I heard the guy was struggling for "30 FUCKING SECONDS" to get back onto the platform. In that time people could easily have helped the guy up, including the cameraman

In the end, this is the world the NRA envisioned for us. Gun availability for anyone on demand. Had they had their senses intact and said to themselves "maybe not everyone in this country ought to have the right to bear arms", "maybe there should be some stringent tests people have to go through to prove they have the mental faculties about themselves to be armed".....maybe these shootings wouldn't have happened. All these decades gun shows have been letting these weapons out the back door, there's simply too much of em out there to know who has one and who doesn't. If it had been done right from the beginning for sure alot of these incidents would have been cut down on. But like Plank said, this is now why good people have to carry. It is what it is now.

I know, my gut told me it was a lie right away. I can't believe no one helped him. Viewing life through a screen (camera, or otherwise) causes a sort of deadening of compassion for others I believe

No disrespect, Samurai, but no this is NOT the NRA's vision. In the NRA's version of this event, every single adult in that school would have had a gun and the minute this worthless piece of shit drew his gun one of them would have dropped him.

my kids' school went in to lock down and announced they'll have a police presence in the coming months...

Im sick over this happening to these babies and teachers

digi is right...Im about 100 miles north east

even in that fairy tale setting that guy is killing a coupld people before he's gunned down, and that's real talk. I agree though, there should be some certified people in schools now. It's kind of sick we've come to that though, you do realize that right? I mean it's reality I get it, but it's still pretty much that we've hit rock bottom. Teachers have to be armed....are you kidding me. This is what we've come to. Sorry but that punultimate vision you described is still utterly and absurdly corrupt....it's what has to happen though.

so he shot his mom and her students?

Shot many of her students, and there's a report saying a body was found in a home "connect to him". Another story said police are at his mother's house, so he may have killed someone at home, then went to her school.

thanks...I didn't even know about it until the school system here initiated the emergency response system

to be honest I know its an overreaction but makes me feel better knowing theyre doing it anyway
our police force here is truly amazing...
they did this one other time over a note scribbled in a bathroom stall and the kids felt a lot better having the police there...cops made a big community outreach thing out of it and did lots of food and oy drives and stuff and the kids really enjoyed it

I can't imagine being a parent trying to get to the staging area...or being emergency personell trying to keep it together for a scene like that

Or being one of the 18 sets of parents still standing there as the rest of the kids leave with their families.

There is a special place in hell for this fucker. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!

Who can shoot a bunch of young kids. Jeeeeezz fuck fuck suck fuck fucker.

No denying what you're saying, Samurai. I'm just saying that taking guns from law-abiding citizens doesn't fix the situation, and in fact the laws taking away a CCW/CHL's rights to carry on school property don't and won't do anything.

Shirl, Arkansas schools have had at least a couple units on premise ever since the Jonesboro shooting in the 90's and that HAS seemed to stop a lot of the shit that was going on in schools.

right...I can't imagine the growing horror

this whole thing literally made me cry....my heart goes out to anyone directly affected

it's like the call is going out, they'e all coming out of the woodwork now. Maybe it's like a network and they all know each other?

I leave my .45 in my truck at all times. Even when I'm picking up my kid from school waiting in the parking lot. What? Ima take it out every day before driving there then have this kind of shit happen and be unarmed? I think not.

^^^ Bingo.

and like I told her the cat would still have gotten off multiple rounds before someone put him down. If cops who train for a living lose their ability to put rounds on target in high stress situations, you can bet the average american citizen who sits all day at work then goes home and sits on the couch isn't going to fare any better. Would the guy have gotten off on 26 people if at least a couple people were armed in taht school? likely not so I agree something has to be done. But let's stop kidding ourselves ok? Having everybody armed isn't this magical failsafe that's gonna keep everyone from getting shot. Something still has to be done in the way of having to pass rigourous mental and physical tests in order to posess firearms. It's standard practice in the military and LE, so that has to come down to general public.

Guns are a glock 9mm and some sort of sig handgun found on the shooters body. A bushmaster AR was in his car, but they can't confirm if he used it or not.

Obama will give a briefing at 3:15pm. His aides are already saying while he supports an assault rifle ban, he is not willing to put any political capitol towards it, and will not touch upon the gun control subject in any foreseeable future.

I don't believe anything he says.. That would go for Romney too. Just so ppl dont think I'm a republican.

nothing to be scared of here bro, now stfu

bino, aren't you making "political hay" here yourself? jus sayin bro. Your first response was "here go those dems again". And yeah I get it but at the same time 30 people are dead and apparently most of em are kindergartners, so if you're people who beleive that the average american ought not to possess the ability to end lives with the simplicity offered by a firearm....I think you get a pass today. They may be perfectly wrong but still Bino, kindergartners are dead.

meh i think i'm justified in pointing out the rush to make this a political issue.
i've can count two hands the times i've fired a gun, i have very little interest in guns btw

Samurai, the testing and such you suggest only keeps guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. It won't do anything to stop dirtbags bent on doing shit like this.

A parent giving an interview on the phone is stating that the gunman went after the principal, they argued, while the intercom was on, and heard the principal give warning to the school and then get shot.

I'm in CO and I remember Columbine. My oldest was a baby. There was this awful feeling everywhere you went, it was like then entire state went into depression. They took measures, made the kids wear ID's, check parents at the door. Even now I have to be buzzed in to my son's JR high. But none of this fixes the problem. The shooter was buzzed into this school, as I hear it. I'm not so sure about gun control, I don't think it will work. I think we need more gun education. The common factor in all of the shootings out here (Aurora Theater, Columbine) was that there was a history of mental illness. After working in a hospital that cares for the indigent, I can honestly tell you that services for the mentally ill are nearly nonexistent.

Obviously we arent going to arm everyone. the majority of these soccer mom run faggot families in the USA are scared to death of guns. Which is contributing factor to problems like this. This is why my child has been taught to respect guns and how to act around and safely handle them since the first .22 shot he fired at age 4 to shooting my .44 mag this summer at age 11.

It doesnt matter if you have to pass a military issued test to own a gun or just go into walmart and buy one. Responsible people will still be responsible. Criminals will still be criminals and find weapons readily available. More available most likely. You can pass all the laws and test people all you want. All that is going to do is discourage law abiding citizens who want a CCW or sporting permit (for handgun) to not get one due to the amount of red tape needed to go through. When I got my CCW I waited 6 mos. Now its up to almost a 12 month wait for the process where i live. I could go to the city nearby in the ghetto flash some cash and have a gun inside of an hour guaranteed. So WTF good does any of this shit do?

I looked at his page too...his likes were short, mainly Theatre, some other game I've never heard of, and GNR

Not like he'd have Likes like 'killing people' or anything, but you know.

Sorry, I think talking about guns at all is stupid. Why would anyone's mind even go there? Can't people see past the surface

thats not the shooter....right name wrong person
defamation lawsuit

people can't take a moment to help a dude off of train tracks to avoid his impending doom nor be bothered to interrupt their game of angry birds long enough to dial 911 cause some dude is lying on the ground bleeding from a gunshot wound. It is what it is now.
