Anyone ever had a brazillian?? I'm debating it and in my head, want to do it but watched a few you tube videos and yikes!! Has anyone had the experience? Any tips? suggestions? things you don't know unless you've done it type things?

Just try not to scream TOO loud lol
I think I left my body the last time.
I'm Ok with just a razor thankyouverymuch

Thanks Trex..I may stick to the razor for now. :)

Yeah...I had bad bruising and it drew blood in a few places. I prepared for it right, she did it correctly, and I paid a bundle, but it was horrible. :(

I go once a month. Love it.

Takes a little getting used to. Yes, the first time you go it hurts, you'll swear up a storm ;) and yes, it might not look too pretty. But you shouldn't bruise if the person knows what they're doing (pulling the wax too vertically can cause bruising) unless you have a clotting problem.

Shaving just leaves me with a lot of ingrowns. Good luck! Let us know how it goes! ;)

xo, C

PS Definitely don't try it yourself at home... Unless you really know what you're doing. That is a big mess!

Yes bruising is not good... never had bruising but it did hurt, but I'm not good with stuff like this.. and I'm really bad with ripping off bandaids.

But I had it done every six weeks for years..
You have to get over the first few times and then it gets better and better, the hair thins out, and grows back less and less.
Also at different times of the month it's more or less sensitive... just before your period it hurts more.

It hurts, but it's worth it..

However I'm seriously thinking about investing in a laser machine - good old DIY... has anyone got one, any reports?

Thanks to both of you for the feedback.

You know, I was recently looking at a device called the "nono"..I'll find the website. Seems like it has good reviews and a little bit different then laser but...it's $$. (although less then laser treatments).
