Greatr job fella. B, how'd you like St. Louis?

Loved St. Louis. I also squatted 800 in VERY loose gear. I could put all of my own gear on by myself in less than 5 minutes...lol.

They said that I missed parallel with it by less than 1/2" but it was very easy on the way up. Took less than one second on the way up and 850 probably would have went. I just didn't have enough experience squatting heavy and trying to hit depth...I just cut the 800 a tad shy.

Thanks...maybe when I get my new power rack and a new bar or two...I can try for 800+. I'd like to do a few sets of 600 for reps though...not sure that the max attempt would benefit me that much honestly...

Strange though...I squatted 800, did some clean and jerks with a 250 thick bar, loaded a 360 stone to a 5' platform, and set a PR with 585 on the sled for 100' in 28.4 seconds...and feel great. I hang out for about 4 hours then drive home another 4 hours and I feel like I have torn my anterior tib...

Can't figure it out...

things that make you go hmmmmm:confused:

hmmm........could have been the enormous weight or the suit on the squat.......... but from my days as a trainer it was probably from the sled drive i would think. maybe the clean and jerk depending on how hard you slammed your feet down on the clean???

do some front calf raises with no weight while, sitting in a chair. that always seemed to help me with shin splints.......... i dont know how much that would help here though.
