Ano Turtiainen's gym pics

For those of you who know dont know Ano Turtiainen, he is a powerlifter from Helsinki, Finland. His best total is 2468, which is one of the best in the world. He has been around a long time, but has really made a big splash since converting to Westside training principals recently.

He has sent me some pictures of his setup and has allowed me to repost these.

the way he sets up the bands for bench and squat is pretty crafty. i wish i had a similar way.

With Ano Turtainen and Joko Ahola pulling on the same bar, I don't think it would have stayed on the floor if it was welded down.

Great pic. Ano is a freak and a force of nature. If he can get his bodyweight over 308, it could be scary to see him go after Garry Frank. Anyone know how old Ano is?
