Anita Ramsey here to introduce myself

I am here to introduce myself to all of you.

Hi Everyone!

Many of you may already know me, but for those who do not, I am a NPC Top National Level Bodybuilder, bench-press specialists and bodybuilding/figure prep coach. I train at High Peaks Barbell Club www.highpeaksbarbellclub.com That’s my gym and of course Adirondack Barbell Club Home of the Metal Militia! Truly the Strongest benchers on Earth! Bill Crawford and Sebastian Burns are great people. They are all helpful, knowledgeable, and some of the strongest people I know. I have learned a ton about competitive benching since starting there and learn more each training session.

Regarding bodybuilding - Yep, I have been a competitive bodybuilder for over a decade, and, over the years, I have been in someway or another part of the Bodybuilding community and after 10 years in retirement I came back and did the 2008 NPC Masters Nationals. Wow! “To comeback after a 10-year layoff and to place top 4 is way cool. The 2008 Master Nationals is no joke it is a pro qualifier for sure. The toughest classes were the women’s light heavyweights and heavyweights - I was in the light heavyweights (139 3/4)…16 girls in my class, 17 in heavyweights!
I PLACED 4th!!! So my come back was a TOP 5…. SWEET! I had a GREAT time; lots of fun…”

My first contest was a victory at the 1988 NPC Boulder B.B. Championships. My biggest victory in the sport was winning the 1998 NPC Southern States Heavyweights and overall. The Southern States is one of the Top NPC regional shows here in the US. After winning the Southern States, I went on to post my best placing ever in an International show with a 3rd place in the heavyweights at the 98’ IFBB North American.

My Background:

My face and my name are still in many bodybuilding magazines. I have been featured in all the popular bodybuilding magazines like MuscleMag International, Ironman, Muscular Development, FLEX, NPC News, Body's magazine (Italian publication), B&K Sport (Swedish Publication), Le Monde Du Muscle (French), Women's Physique World (WPW), Oxygen, Powerhouse magazine, Body Talk, Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness magazine, Great Lakes Fitness Guide, Steel Jungle and many more. This is what WPW has to say about me: Anita was a top level competitor, and one of the very strongest women, during the 1990's, and she was at her peak in 1995 when we had our photo/video session with her. Though this was intended to be an 'off-season' shooting, she was very lean and defined even at her higher weight, making it hard to believe she was not preparing for a contest! A great looking blonde with huge arms and lower body, and another woman bodybuilder 'who loved the camera'.”

I have been a competitive bodybuilder for over a decade, and, over the years, never have I not been part of the Bodybuilding community in someway or another. I am a published author. My work has appeared in Oxygen, Ironman magazine, MuscleMag International, NPC News, and Body Talk (supplement industry magazine). I am also a Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist, Certified Master Personal Trainer, Certified Bodybuilding Instructor, SPARQ Nike Certified Trainer, and NESTA Certified Online PT. Further, I am a consultant for BeFit.ca, I am also the United Powerlifting Association (UPA) New Mexico & Colorado Regional Chair. And I am a powerlifting event promoter.

Further, I am a sponsored athlete with www.needtobuildmuscle.com. The owner of this company is a truley honest and knowledgable man. Over the years of my bodybuilding career I have always made it a point to only align myself with people & companies who are top of the line and extremely credible and www.needtobuildmuscle.com is definately that.

Other info about me is that I love helping people to suceed in the health & fitness industry. Whether or not you are an individual who just wants to get fit to a competitive Figure, Bodybuilder, Powerlifter or any other type of competitive athlete. I am here to answer your questions and see you attain your goals.

Hi Anita, I've definitely seen you in the magazines, and I am glad you are here! You have an amazing body, and it really shows your dedication and hard work. I'm really glad to be able to welcome you here.

Anita should be coming around a lot more now that I am training her again for her next comp... look for her to win this bad boy. Or place high anyway....

Been placing top 5, but it is time to stop messing around. So, lets have some fun & see what we can do this year...

Hey Island girl, I will be doing the Masters Nationals again. I took 10 years off from the stage to compete on the platform after placing 3rd in the Heavies at the North America in 98. Came back to the stage in 08 & 09 & got 4th in the light heavies both times. Took this past year off and well here we go again.... Very excited to work with need2 an incredibly awesome man.

Sweeet! What show is she planning on doing?

Just wanted to let everyone know how things are coming along at this point. Currently I am 21 weeks out from contest. Training is kick ass to say the least. CEO recommended I give DC training a try. Holy >>>>> I don't remember the last time I was this sore - just started experimenting with it 1 week ago. I am having lots of fun and it will be interesting to see how it goes for me. My strength is definately on the rise and yes I am getting ready for a show, but when my strength levels start going up like this it really makes we want to get back on the platform to hit some new PR's on bench...ok let me focus here - that will come soon enough. Need 2 is helping me prep for this show and I am really having a great time with him. No, don't ask for pics you will get to see those come show time...but Need 2 and i will certainly keep you all posted on how things are coming along.

Ok it has been awhile since I last posted here, but wanted to let everyone know how things are coming along... Need 2 and I have managed to put an additional 10 lbs on me. I am currently 16 weeks out from contest weighing 9 pounds more than I did at 16 weeks out fro my last show and a bit leaner. So, we are definately on the right track. As far as my training is going, that has been fun. I have been experimenting with DC training, not doing it the exact way everyone else does it as I have put my own little twist into it, but I am stronger and thicker than ever before. As a matter of fact I did 3 sets of 70 for 10 on incline DB press the other day and am pretty confident I will be using 80's within the next few weeks. Again I will be dropping in to keep you all posted on how things are going, but I want to offer a HUGE THANKS to Need 2!!!!!!!!!

I have worked with MANY people over the years and have NEVER met anyone who is as helpful and as good of a man as he is. Further, I am very impressed with his products. Need2 really is NO joke.
